Lindsie Chrisley Believes ‘God Has A Plan’ As Todd & Julie Chrisley Begin Prison Sentence

Lindsie Chrisley turns to God as her family begins the new year with enthusiasm.

Her father, Todd Chrisley, and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison on November 21, 2022, and have since begun their sentences on January 17.

The famous couple accused of bank fraud and tax evasion vehemently denied the allegations but were eventually convicted of the crimes by a federal jury.

After the couple turned themselves in on Tuesday to get their period, Todd’s estranged daughter, Lindsie, put her faith in God to take care of her father and stepmother.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum doesn’t let her spirits down as her entire family deals with an unfortunate reality that has turned their world upside down.

The mother of one took to her Instagram story to repost a screenshot of the heartwarming video she originally posted on her TikTok account.

The screenshot is a picture of his son, Jackson Campbell, with granddaughter Chloe, and his father, Todd. The two children look happy in the video as they smile brightly for the camera. While patriarch Chrisley wears a black face mask that covers his facial expression.

The doting grandfather looked fit, dressed in matching white shorts and sneakers as he looked down on his grandson.

Describing the precious moment in the picture and relating it to her current situation, she wrote, “I know God has a plan. I pray for guidance to follow it, patience to wait, and knowledge to know when it comes. ✨✝️???❤️.”

Lindsie, before making a touching Instagram post about her story, had previously shared a moving video on her TikTok page, in memory of her father, Todd, and stepmother, Julie.

The emotional clip was set to the gospel song “What A Beautiful Name,” sung by the choir, “Hillsong.” The video is a compilation of the fondest memories she and her son shared with the couple. It features moments when his son, Jackson, bonds with his grandfather as they engage in playful activities.

He simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji. Fans of Chrisley’s family were touched by the tearful video and filled the comments section with words of encouragement and prayers.

One distraught fan wrote, “I have never cried so hard for a stranger. You are all in my prayers! ?.” Another earnestly wrote, “I am praying fervently for you all! Everything will be in your favor. Fight the good fight.”

One angry fan demanded, “Bring Chrisley home!! This is very wrong. Praying for them.” Sending their support from a faraway country, one wrote, “Sending so much love and comfort from Canada ?? is so wrong. I’m sorry you and your family have to endure this ? ❤️.”

Despite the traumatic events that befell the Chrisley family, it seems that Todd and Julie are raising soldiers and believers who remain steadfast and hopeful in the midst of the chaos that surrounds them.

According to The Blast, the couple’s children had an emotional and hopeful reaction to the news of their parents turning themselves in to begin their prison terms.

Taking to social media to express their thoughts on the news, the couple’s eldest son, Chase, took to his Instagram story to express his support for his parents. He posted a picture of an abandoned house surrounded by a large tree and a Christmas tree decorated with twinkling lights.

Adding a biblical verse to the image, she shared Matthew 1:23, which reads, ‘God is with us.’” Their second child, Savannah, shared a fan support post on her Instagram story. The writing reads, “A thousand will fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but (evil) will not come near you,” a verse from the book of Psalms.
