Lindsie Chrisley has spoken out about the controversial stance she took following the death of her ex-sister Nic Kerdiles last month.
The other half of the famous Chrisley siblings set the record straight on his podcast about his current situation with Savannah Chrisley and why he handled Kerdiles’ death differently. 29-year-old Kerdiles, a former NHL player and Savannah’s ex-fiancée lost her life in a tragic motorcycle accident on September 23rd in Tennessee.
Lindsie Chrisley Keeps Her Distance Despite Savannah’s Painful Loss
The mother of one revealed all on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, “The Southern Tea Podcast” when asked to explain her current relationship with Savannah. Lindsie explained that she did not reach out to her sister, either publicly or privately, as she said:
“I know that he is understandably very upset and sad, and I absolutely do not want to make things worse than what has already happened.”

She referenced Savannah’s statement on the Viall Files about their position and how she stands by her sister’s words, saying:
“If you all listen to the Viall Files and what was said there, and then my response to him at Coffee Convos, I chose to respect his wishes that he expressed in that guest spot on Nick Viall’s podcast about us not getting involved in each other’s personal lives. And just decided that it was best, not only for him, but for me, not to reach out.”
However, Lindsie revealed that she had contacted other family members to check in on Savannah and revealed that she had her heart set on the beauty mogul.
Lindsie continued that Savannah cut off her family during her relationship with Kerdiles, adding that she only reconnected when they called off their engagement and broke up. He emphasized that he tried to handle things personally by saying:
“And as I said at Coffee Convos, it is my understanding that the family does not want his memory to be overshadowed by Chrisley’s family and for that reason I have not said anything on social media.”
Before her appearance on the podcast, Lindsie celebrated her 34th birthday with a very elaborate post on her Instagram page with a picture of herself and her boyfriend. The reality star marked the previous year “a year of many life lessons” and shared her enthusiasm for year 34 while showering her man with love, writing:

As reported by The Blast, Lindsie shared that Trent is a traditional guy who wants to ask his dad to marry him, which may be challenging since he is behind bars. A confused Lindsie continued saying:
“What would that look like? How do you approach that? How many visits are appropriate to do so? I mean, you don’t just sign up and go on a weekend trip and say, ‘Hey, by the way, nice to meet you. I want to marry your son. Like me, that doesn’t fit. So, how would you handle the situation? I do not know.”
Well, while Lindsie searches for answers, a breakup with Trent is off the table as she says, “I’m not going into another marriage with the option of divorce. That might be an option for other people, but it’s not for me.”
