“All I can do is pray for God’s will to be done, whatever it is for us to be happy in our relationships with others. So that’s what I hope for. Whatever God wills for it to be done.”

The 33-year-old stated that the former split couple is in a much better place and mentioned that they both dated other people for a while after their split. He concluded by saying that they have experienced significant growth since then and are in a completely different place in their lives than when they got married.

The couple, who met while attending school together at Georgia State University, fell in love and weathered many storms together, whether it was family disapproval or separation during their time together.

According to US Magazine, the start of their relationship was not greeted with excitement by the “Southern Tea” podcast host’s family, especially her father, Todd Chrisley. After they chose to elope in 2012, her relationship with her father worsened as tensions rose between them.
