Lindsie Chrisley takes a stand on what she wants from her next wedding!
The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum, who married her ex-husband, Will Campbell, in her early twenties, announced in July 2021 that they were separating.
Chrisley, who later finalized her divorce from Campbell in October of the same year, recently announced on the latest episode of her podcast that she would not consider divorce in her upcoming marriage.

The TV personality turned full-time podcaster reflects on her experiences from her past marriage and reveals the lessons she’s learned since the divorce.
Taking to her podcast series called “The Southern Tea,” the former reality star engages her listeners with the life-changing decisions she chose to stick with.
He began by saying, “I think we need to dial it back that if you put yourself in a position to get married, then you have to put yourself in a position to solve all your problems, and divorce is not an option.”
Chrisley drew on her previous marriage to her ex-husband, Campbell, and her parents – Todd Chrisley and his mother, his ex-wife, Teresa Terry – to elaborate.
The media personality said, “I come from a divorcee, and [Will] no. So any problems that his parents ever experienced. They got over it because they are still married today.”
Focusing on his parents, he added, “Is there a problem with my parents? First of all, I don’t remember my parents being together. That’s another story for another day.” He went on to say that seeing his parents’ relationship helped him further think about the normalcy of divorce, even after his famous dad started a “successful marriage” to his current wife, Julie Chrisley.
The podcaster explained, “What I came up with was two people who left a marriage, so I was like, ‘Well, you know, you just got divorced.’ Like, that’s acceptable. And I think once you allow that to be accepted, that’s a problem for me.”

Chrisley declared her resolve: “I’m not going into another marriage with the option of divorce. That might be an option for other people, but it’s not for me.”

Although Chrisley’s decision to leave her former marriage came with a lot of pain, the podcaster has since moved on to find a new partner.
Previously covered by People Magazine, the mother of one revealed that she was in a new relationship a year after leaving her ex-husband, Campbell. She took to her Instagram to share the news but did not reveal her partner’s name. Uploading a video of herself and her man making out, she revealed in the caption, writing, “I’m praying for you.”
She continued, “He came into my life unexpectedly and swept me off my feet. It’s not perfect because we’ve gotten to know each other as individuals, as parents to our collective children, and as partners in this relationship. I have learned that I am not looking for perfection at this stage in my life, and who defines what is perfect anyway”?
Chrisley also stated how God’s timing is best. He wrote, “God’s plan is always the best. Sometimes the process is painful and difficult. But don’t forget when God is silent; he did something good for you.”
The podcaster further discussed his faith and the longevity of their relationship, adding, “I can’t wait to see how we grow together in all aspects, because this relationship has opened my eyes to many things in life. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”
Chrisley Overcomes The Possibility Of Reconnecting With Her Ex
Although the South Carolina native has separated from her ex-husband, they share a 10-year-old son and maintain a cordial relationship. As for rekindling her love for Campbell, the podcaster explained.
According to The Blast, Chrisley used her Instagram Stories to answer questions about her ex-husband. The question read, “Do you think this might be God’s plan to bring you and Will back together?”
Uploading a video to answer her fans, the TV personality looked sporty while wearing a black hoodie, gray undershirt and a red hat.
He replied, “All I can do is pray for God’s will to be done, whatever it is for us to be happy in our relationships with others. So that’s what I hope for. Whatever God wills for it to be done.”
