Lindsie Chrisley’s Denies Savannah’s Claim Of Her Involvment In Parents’ Sentencing

Drama in the Chrisley family continues as daughters Lindsie and Savannah raise concerns about their relationship amid their parents’ incarceration.

The sisters once had a strained bond because of Lindsie’s estrangement from the family and years of conflict with their father, Todd Chrisley. However, things seemed settled until Savannah accused her sister of participating in her parents’ imprisonment.

In 2022, the real estate mogul and his second wife, Julie Chrisley, were found guilty of fraud and tax evasion. The founder of Sassy by Savannah believes her sister helped the government put them both behind bars. However, Chrisley’s oldest parent begs to differ.

The drama between the siblings began after the “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast host’s recent allegations about her sister’s involvement in the cheating case. According to the 26-year-old woman, she and Lindsie are not on speaking terms.

The former beauty pageant contestant hinted that their relationship has always been shaky, noting that his father’s son from his first marriage to Teresa Terry did not like his mother. In the words of the performer:

“He and my eldest brother [Kyle] from my father’s first marriage, my mother always treated them as if they were her own. They don’t necessarily treat it the same.”

Following Savannah’s interview, Lindsie addressed the matter through her lawyer, Musa Ghanayem. The legal practitioner tells PEOPLE that her client has no bad blood with her sister because she understands his difficult position.

The lawyer said the former Miss Tennessee Teen USA titleholder was in a “tough spot” because of her responsibilities as a caretaker for her younger brother Grayson and adopted sister Chloe. The little girl was the biological daughter of her stepbrother, Kyle, but Todd and Julie adopted her before they were incarcerated.

“He’s dealing with a lot, and it doesn’t surprise me that he lashed out at Lindsie,” Ghanayem claimed. “I mean, some of the things he said in regards to his parents, that has to be out of anger because it’s not true.”

Regarding Savannah’s story about her sister’s involvement in the fraud case, the lawyer refuted her claims. According to the legal practitioner, Lindsie was the only sibling to testify in her parents’ defense, plus the information revealed proved she was unaware of the investigation.

Ghanayem pointed out that even though Lindsie reconciled with Todd after their split, the mother of one “didn’t want to deal with any of that drama.” Because of his thoughts, the media personality has no “ill will” regarding his sister’s allegations.

“She is Savannah’s punching bag this week. He’s really young — young to be dealing with all of this, and there’s no doubt about it,” said Lindsie’s lawyer. “Because nothing he said was based on facts, right? It has to be based on anger and frustration and different kinds of frustration.”

As noted, the “Growing Up Chrisley” star called out her sister during her recent appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast. The 26-year-old accused Lindsie of betraying their family, saying she was “very involved” in her parents’ case by working with the government.

Savannah explained, “In the court transcript, it says that he has been working with the government for two years, but currently [the] trial, certain things he said were like, ‘Hey, what the government is saying is not accurate.'”

“I just think he’s in a mess because he’s trying to find a way out of it and it’s a hard way to find a way out,” the TV personality added.

Lindsie Chrisley Reveals She Blocked All Her Siblings On Social Media To Avoid Drama

Months before Savannah and Lindsie raised eyebrows with their faltering sibling bond, eldest Chrisley opened up about avoiding drama with her siblings. In June, the 33-year-old held a candid Q&A session with fans on his Instagram Stories.

One wants to know why the media personality and his siblings don’t follow each other on social media. The follower’s question read: “No drama, just curious; why don’t you and your siblings follow each other on social?”

In response, the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum revealed the distance was her fault. However, he claims to have a cordial relationship with his relatives despite their lack of social media connections.

“Okay, because I’m honest. I block everyone in arguments because I don’t want to deal with it. So it’s my fault. My B. No drama, though; everything is fine. We are all fine,” said the mother of one.
