The late Lisa Marie Presley reportedly started taking opioids again before her appearance at the Golden Globes.
The daughter of the late singer Elvis Presley also underwent treatment to lose weight to look her best for an award ceremony in honor of “Elvis.”
Lisa Marie suffered a heart attack after the ceremony and was rushed to the hospital, where she died. After his death, his mother, Priscilla Presley, objected to his will, which placed his eldest son Riley Keough, and his late son, Benjamin Keough, as joint trustees.

New reports have revealed that Lisa Marie is actively pursuing her weight loss goals ahead of the awards ceremony for which the movie “Elvis” has been nominated.
Source, per TMZ, shared that she also underwent plastic surgery and lost about “40-50” pounds to achieve her desire to look beautiful for an awards show. Lisa Marie also reportedly relapsed on opioids at the same time, an addiction she had struggled with for years.
Signs that the 54-year-old wasn’t feeling well were seen during his Golden Globes appearance. While walking the red carpet, she appeared unsteady on her feet and, at one point, needed support from her friend Jerry Schilling, 80, to keep her balance, as seen in the video.
He was also spotted throwing out his words while talking to the press about the movie “Elvis'” starring Austin Butler.

A few days after the awards show, Lisa Marie suffered a heart attack at her home in Calabasas, California. Per TMZ, the late music icon’s daughter complained about her stomach on Thursday morning, January 12.
He was later found unresponsive and rushed to the hospital. However, despite the measures taken, he did not succeed. The cause of his death has yet to be determined but will be known once the toxicology results are received.
After her death, Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla, released an announcement to mourn her daughter’s death. He wrote at the time, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the sad news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

Although the document named Lisa Marie’s eldest child, Riley, and her late son, Benjamin, as successor joint trustees pursuant to a “purported 2016 amendment,” Priscilla recently filed a lawsuit challenging the “authenticity and validity” of the document.
The businesswoman was formerly the trustee of the will along with Lisa Marie’s former business manager, Barry Siegel. In a document obtained exclusively by ExplosionPriscilla claimed that Lisa Marie’s name was misspelled and that her daughter’s signature on the 2016 paperwork “appeared inconsistent with her usual and customary signature.”
