The weekend was all about fun for the happy Roloffs as they gathered to celebrate their loving parent Amy Roloff’s surprise 60th birthday.

Although Amy’s actual birthday is on September 17, her relatives couldn’t help but honor her once again with a surprise party involving her daughter-in-law and seven grandchildren.

According to a series of Instagram Story posts from several family members, the surprise event appeared to be a success, with Amy’s grandchildren basking in the sun with her. Tori Roloff, one of her daughters-in-law, shared a photo of the beaming parents with her three grandchildren; Josiah and Lilah sat with him while Jackson stood next to him.

The mother-of-three wrote on the post, “All the DILs made a great surprise for Mimi’s 60th!!,” adding, “We love you @amyjroloff.” It’s worth noting that DIL in Tori’s message refers to Amy’s son-in-law, who appears to be the mastermind behind the surprise birthday celebration.

Audrey Roloff, another DIL, shared a similar post featuring Amy with her three other grandchildren, Ember, Bode and Radley. The three little children were Audrey’s children, who sat next to their grandmother and were all smiles. “Surprised Mimi yesterday,” he wrote across the update, adding an emoji signifying his celebratory mood.

At the same time, Tori uploaded another photo of the two little cousins, Jackson and Ember, standing under some event decorations, including several balloons and a large 60-mark rose gold inflatable. “We love bringing everyone together!!!” he exclaimed. “Gathering 7 grandchildren is not an easy task.” He also talked about the top motivational speaker in another post shared by Amy.

Another post showed a festive image in front of some pink-themed party decorations and what looked like a birthday cake. Tori’s attached note read, “60 years young,” prompting Amy to confess on her repost, “Oh baby! I don’t feel this age,” alongside a teary-eyed laughing emoji.

Turning 60 is certainly a milestone for the veteran baker, and he seems to have had the perfect celebration with his children and grandchildren. She admitted this through an Instagram Story post reported by In Touch, displaying a photo of herself and her husband, Chris Marek, a day after the ceremony.

Amy appreciates her family’s efforts and mentions that she still celebrates, even days after her official birthday. There is no better way to do it than to honor the success of Marek and his grandchildren.

Speaking of the TV personality’s seven grandchildren, in addition to Tori and Audrey’s three children each, Amy’s youngest son, Jacob Roloff has a son Mateo with his wife, Isabel Rock.

As fans already know, all of her children are from her first marriage to Matt Roloff, who was conspicuously absent from the surprise celebration due to his ongoing conflict with his son, Zach Roloff.

They don’t seem to be on the same terms regarding the sale of their family property, which Matt opens up about in a season 22 episode, revealing that his son is demanding and not open to negotiations.

Best Author Considers Selling Part of Her Family Farm to Ex-Husband

Matt, Zach and Amy have apparently been at loggerheads for a while since the former couple planned to divide their assets related to the family farm, prompting the parents to consider selling their share.

As The Blast reported last April, the two have been separated for half a decade, and they own a large pumpkin patch and farm in Oregon where the show “Little People, Big World” is often set. In a snippet for an episode of the show, Amy mentioned that she always knew her ex-partner would want all of their possessions eventually.

The clip also features Zach asking his wife if she heard about his father’s plan to “buy my mom.” And naturally, he wondered if the idea was bad or not. Amy’s decision to sell apparently stemmed from Matt’s offer to buy her property in the divorce proceedings, although it was unclear at the time if he would agree.
