MEGA
Hilary Duff recently took to Dear Media to appear on the podcast, where she talked about a variety of topics, including her breakfast. “I woke up hungry,” Duff said on the podcast, “I was obsessed with the cauliflower florets. They are so kind. It’s made of cauliflower and looks like a ribbon, but it’s small,” he said. “They’re just cauliflowers and maybe like each other [ingredient]. They are very clean.”
The show’s host then brought up the topic of alcoholic beverages, saying she recently had a dirty martini, to which Duff quickly responded, “Oh, that’s my favorite.”
Although the “Young” actor loves a dirty martini, he has one big problem with the drink.
“The thing is, after you have the first one, you have the second one,” he laughs. “Sometimes you have a third, and that’s not a good idea.”
Will Hilary Duff Star in ‘Lizzie McGuire’ Reboot?
MEGA
Hilary Duff is set to reprise her role in the highly anticipated “Lizzie McGuire” reboot alongside other original cast members Hallie Todd (Jo McGuire/Lizzie’s Mom), Robert Carradine (Sam McGuire/Lizzie’s Dad), Jake Thomas (Matt McGuire/Lizzie’s brother ), Adam Lamberg (Gordo) and, of course, the animated Lizzie. However, the reboot was canceled because Duff said, “the stars didn’t align.”
Although the project was canceled, and Duff hasn’t heard anything from Disney about the project, she said she’s still open to working on a “Lizzie McGuire” reboot, which she admitted on “Watch What Happens Live.” Host Andy Cohen read a question from a fan, who mentioned “Lizzie McGuire” and asked Duff if she would still consider doing a reboot if “it lived up to her vision,” to which Duff quickly said, “Of course.”
Cohen then asked what the “major tipping point” was for the reboot, to which the “So Yesterday” singer was a little flustered, trying to be lighthearted and not say something she didn’t mean. After a pause, Duff gathered her thoughts and finally answered, “Disney+ is very new, and I think they know that they are [pause]and we are thinking about us [pause]and…,” Duff paused before ending with, “I’m optimistic.”
When Duff says, “I think they’re thinking about them [pause] and we are thinking about us [pause],” she alluded to Disney and Duff’s “creative differences” on the project. “She has to be a 30-year-old doing 30-year-old things,” Duff previously told Women’s Health, wanting to push the more mature Lizzie. “She doesn’t have to do bong rips and have one-night stands all the time, but it has to be genuine. I think they’re scared.”
