Inside Lizzo’s ‘I Quit’ Announcement
When Lizzo apparently announced her departure from making music, The Blast reported that she touched on a variety of issues.
For starters, he stated that while all he wanted to do was “make music and make people happy and help the world be a little bit better” than he “found it,” he had learned a bitter lesson.
The teaching he was given “started to feel like the world” didn’t want him in it because of the “lies told about me for influence & views.”
The 35-year-old also pointed to “people who don’t know me” constantly making fun of her plus size while picking on her character and actions.
“I didn’t sign up for this—, I QUIT,” he emphasized at the end of the message. As already mentioned, the post brought his fans in numbers who begged him to keep making music.
One emphatically wrote, “Man FK them!!!!! I told the same thing, the only solution is to say F them,” and a second maintained, “Just ignore them. They don’t mean anything.”
