A day earlier, the singer was criticized by the lawyers of former backup dancers Lizzo, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, who sued the pop star, allegedly sexually harassing them and creating a hostile work environment.

The lawyer, Ron Zambrano, claimed it was “disgraceful” that Lizzo had been booked to perform at a fundraiser for President Joe Biden in New York City.

“It’s a shame that Lizzo would be chosen to preside over an event like this in the midst of such horrific allegations,” Zambrano said in an interview with NewsNation, follow Daily Mail. “Without getting involved in politics, I can’t imagine why anyone would want Lizzo to represent them in any way, given his reprehensible behavior. It’s just a horrible sight.”

The attorney also mentioned that “Lizzo’s count is forthcoming,” referring to the ongoing lawsuit that a judge ruled last month could proceed.
