Logan Paul is NOT a bad pet owner… so says Logan himself.
On Monday, January 9, an animal rescue organization, Gentle Barn, shared a TikTok video about a large pig named Pearl. He was once owned by YouTuber and entrepreneur, Logan.
Unfortunately, he was found in terrible condition by Gentle Barn.

Mutiara was found abandoned in a field next to a dead pig. He had a torn and ragged ear in addition to a potentially life-threatening infection.
Many people on social media recognize the pig from Logan’s social media.
GB’s TikTok video shows Pearl being transported in a cage from where she was found to her new home at an animal shelter.

“Peal was found alone in a field next to another dead pig. She came to us with a ragged ear and a potentially life-threatening infection in her healed uterus. He obviously went through a lot of trauma that we can’t imagine, but now he is safe with us at the Gentle Barn. From what we have been told, it is believed he was originally purchased from a breeder by an influencer,” the caption said. “People often use ‘mini pigs’ or ‘teacup pigs’ for online influence, believing they will stay small. When they inevitably get really big and have a lot of unexpected needs, unfortunately they get thrown out.”

This is true for Logan, as he previously shared a photo of him and Pearl with the caption, “I bought Pearl over a year ago. I was told she was a mini pig… she’s not.”

Gentle Barn’s caption continued, “While we don’t know everything she’s been through in her past, we know her life is now filled with friends, nutritious food, high quality care, and so much love.”
Logan has broken the silence and insists he did NOT leave Pearl in such a bad state. In fact, he claims he relocated her more than two years ago.
Basically, he wiped his hands of any liability.
TMZ got the email Logan sent Gentle Barn.
Logan Thanks Gentle Barn For Saving His Former Pet Pig, Pearl

It read, “I was just told that a pig I owned almost two years ago, Pearl, was rescued and rehomed by your organization. With every sense of gratitude I have, thank you.”
She explained that Pearl was living happily in her Encino home and was fed a healthy diet, bathed regularly and had shelter.
“When I moved to the Puerto Rico boarding house in April 2020, he was unable to join me, so he was rehomed at a horse farm in Santa Clarita. From what I understand, he lived happily there for about 10 months until the owner of the house moved out as well. Pearl is then sent back to the farmer across the street with a promise of care. I have heard that he contacted your organization to invite him,” his email continued.
Logan went on to say it was “heartbreaking” to hear the condition he was found in, which is why he wanted to contact GB personally.
“For what it’s worth, I want to thank your organization for accepting Pearl and doing something so good. I think she’s in a good home, but whatever, she is now and I’d like to contribute to her care again,” her email concluded.
