Former One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson has just announced the rescheduling of an in-store signing after a serious arm injury. Since leaving the British boy band, the artist has released several singles and two solo studio albums.
Tomlinson’s latest studio album is “Faith in the Future,” which he released on November 11. In a previous interview, he went into detail about his uncertainty about his music after the band broke up and how it felt when certain band members found success immediately after going solo.

Tomlinson recently revealed that while performing at Irving Plaza in New York, he suffered a major arm injury. The November 11 performance was to promote his latest album, “Faith in the Future.” The artist posted a tweet on his social media page on November 12, announcing his injury and an X-ray image of the damage.
“Last night’s show in New York was incredible. Unfortunately, on the way home, I managed to fall and badly break my right hand,” Tomlinson wrote. The artist explained that due to the severity of the fracture, his in-store signing, scheduled for this week, will be moved.
Tomlinson also added that a new date for the event will be announced to fans “soon.” He went on to apologize to fans who were looking forward to the event. In a tweet the next day, the artist praised how much support he’s received and revealed that it made his broken arm bearable.
“The support for Faith in the Future has been incredible!! Eases the pain in my broken arm, haha!” Tomlinson wrote.

In a previous interview with Telegraph, Tomlinson shed some light on his music and revealed that after disbanding, it took him a while to find his niche. “I can imagine some of these songs being on albums by bands I would listen to as a kid,” the artist said.
“It took me a while to find my feet after One Direction and realize I have to be brave enough to embrace what I love.” Tomlinson went on to reveal that although the rest of One Direction have a lot on their plates, he hopes for a reunion in the future.
“When you see it on paper, it’s like, ‘How is it all going to fit together again?’ We are all making very different music, doing our own thing, all busy all the time,” said the artist. “So I don’t see anything happening for at least another 10 years, but you never know. It seems a bit mixed stir. But I think there’s a world where it all fits together.”

During his Telegraph interview, Tomlinson revealed how he felt about Styles’ instant shot to fame after the band broke up in 2016. “I’d be lying if I said it didn’t bother me at first,” he said. “Just because I don’t know where to put myself, and my only point of reference is the other group members.”
Tomlinson continued, “But it doesn’t surprise me that Harry is the most commercially successful because he really fits the mold of a modern star.” He added that Styles is not only focused on music and has a thriving career in the film industry.
“He has movies too, and the tours he’s on are unbelievable,” the artist said. “It took me a while to work out where I was standing. But I see Harry like a brother, a friend. I’m very proud of what he’s done.”

In October, Tomlinson revealed that when One Direction decided to take a break, he thought it would only last a few years. In an interview with Metro, the artist touched on the comments and explained exactly what he meant by them. “No one made me think it would come back in a year or two,” he admitted.
“I think that’s me just putting up my safety wall and going, well, hopefully, it’ll be a year or two because I’m not ready for that. I’m not ready for a break,” added Tomlinson. He revealed that after the break was called off, he felt “a bit angry” but is now happy with how things turned out.
The artist explained, “I would say now, looking back is a powerful thing. I really enjoy having the ability to express myself musically, and sometimes that’s challenging in a band – especially now I really feel like I’m finding my feet musically.”
