“Love Is Blind” season 4 alumni Jackie Bonds and Josh Demas are no longer together following the drama special “After the Altar” that aired on Netflix recently.
The 27-year-old dental assistant chatted with Josh’s ex-fiancée Monica Rodriguez during the final part of the three-part special. Although their engagement was not shown during the show, Monica later took to Instagram to share her side of the story.
Josh is not happy with what she said, and even though Jackie and Monica were once good friends, Jackie “haunts” her former friend to stand by her man. However, it seems that Josh was not too happy with the conversation that was broadcast on Netflix and decided to call it quits regarding their relationship.

In a TikTok video recorded by RealityAshley, Jackie admitted that she and the 31-year-old project engineer broke up because of a conversation he had with Monica during the “After the Altar” special that aired on Netflix ahead of next week’s season 5 premiere.
“[I’m] still sick of it. I love that man,” she told her followers. “I was like, ‘F*mn, I have all these life plans with you, you know? And then you just don’t care,’ and I’m like, that’s crazy, because a conversation with someone? – Its okay.”

“I’m trying to fix it, I’m trying to fix it. I did everything I could, and what’s crazy is looking back at these messages, I look like a donkey begging for b—-,” Jackie continued.
He went on to say that he felt “sick” re-reading the text messages he sent to his ex where he basically “begged” her to be with him. However, it seems he’s over it now, adding, “It just is.” Apart from the “Love Is Blind” promo image, all past photos of her and Josh have been revealed.
Jackie Was Previously Engaged To Marshall Glaze

Jackie entered her relationship with Josh quickly after she ended her engagement to Marshall Glaze, which was shown during season 4’s “Love Is Blind.” A year after the show finished filming, Jackie and Josh decided not to attend the season 4 reunion in person. Instead, they did a quick Q&A session with co-host Vanessa Lachey that upset many fans over Jackie’s lack of “accountability” for the breakup.
In a lengthy Instagram post published in April, Jackie apologized to Marshall and the public for her “actions and words.”
“I want to start this off by sincerely apologizing and taking responsibility for my actions and words in my relationship between Marshall and I,” Jackie began. “I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for Marshall explaining that I actually ended the relationship before meeting Josh at the coffee shop.”

“I understand that it’s a quick transition from one relationship to another but these relationships don’t start out like most people do in the real world,” she continued. “For some, it may seem like it’s a quick transition, however, there’s only a small percentage that can be shown on TV and my relationship with Josh is much deeper than it appears from the audience’s perspective.”
“I also want to thank Marshall for taking responsibility for the offensive comments made off camera,” he added. “I also want to apologize and take responsibility for the disparaging statement I also made in the leaked message. It is tasteless and disrespectful to talk about anyone that way.

“It was never a battle between Marshall and me,” he continued. “I just want to clear the timeline of the events that happened because it looks like I was a cheater and started one relationship before leaving another.”
“I am grateful that Vanessa Lachey allowed me to speak calmly and take responsibility for my actions,” he said. “All I can do is learn and grow from this experience. As Marshall said at the meeting, we both deserve happiness, peace, and being able to move on from what happened last year.”

“Marshall and I have personally apologized to each other and also taken responsibility for our actions and have moved on. I also want to apologize and take responsibility to the public because it was done in the show for everyone to see,” he concluded. “Actions speak louder than words.”
Unfortunately, many fans did not accept his apology. “This really doesn’t change anything; you are still at fault for not communicating about not going to the fitting? Is it still wrong to keep the ring?” commented a fan. “Still wrong for trying to blackmail the man on national TV? Still wrong for performing for influence? Still wrong for hooking up with Josh as fast as you did idc, you were all in the REAL WORLD at that point and couldn’t wait to once again embarrass Marshall.
