The Mormon mother who revealed her “gentle swing” ways through her popular TikTok account was charged with three misdemeanors: assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in front of a child on Saturday.
He was booked and released within hours but has to appear before a judge soon. The minors involved in the charges are a 5-year-old daughter, Indy, and a 2-year-old son, Ocean, whom she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul.
The New York Post reached out to Taylor and the Herriman Police Department for comment, but was unavailable. Both sides are tight-lipped about the situation.

The mother of two is currently dating Dakota Mortensen who spoke to the Daily Mail about the arrest and although she says she can’t say much, she does. “I wasn’t allowed to talk to him,” she shared with the publication at first.
He then launched into some important clarifications. First, it wasn’t him who called 911 but the neighbors suspected. Second, he and Taylor “didn’t fight” and he “never hurt anyone on purpose,” whatever that means. It kinda, kinda, sounds like he’s the victim in this scenario.
Dakota went on to say, “I’m going to wait until it’s all out before I talk about it.” the 30-year-old clearly felt the need to shield Taylor from any truth as he launched into another defensive rant.

Daily Mail also shared that Dakota is Taylor’s rock and he continues to support her and reassure fans that she is not to blame in this situation. He also talked a bit about his personal life which seemed to be in a bit of a crisis even before the arrest.
“I don’t want the truth to be revealed. He is so broken right now. I tried to help her, she is a good mother,” he claimed.”
“He’s going through a lot in his life right now. Taylor has struggled, it’s been a tough year for her. He is wracked with guilt over his cheating scandal that cost him his marriage.”

The TikTok influencer has shared on her social media that she is struggling. The post has been going on since Summer 2022. In one video, she describes her life as “messed up” the video has moved boxes everywhere and in this same video, she reveals that yes, she is going through a divorce.
Speculation has run wild after she revealed that she and her ex are on good terms, especially he, taking the “soft swing” too far and her husband, now her ex, is furious. Since ending her marriage, she has used her platform to call out the mothers of other fluencers who are supposedly apart of their soft swinger group, or other juicy details.
This may not be the best way to stay put but clearly, Taylor is suffering some form of damage and maybe the hold is a blessing in disguise.
