Griffin Has Considered Her Men’s Past Relationships From Pods
Appiah and Lussier have received a lot of attention online for repeatedly revisiting their early connection on screen.
The two have discussed it while promoting this season, and Griffin has also given his take on Appiah’s former relationship.
Lussier stated in an interview with Extra TV that he thought Griffin had “misunderstood” their relationship.
“…I know some of my intentions with him may be a little confusing,” he explained. “Maybe he misunderstood, I think maybe Chelsea, and I think it’s just because, you know, understanding me as a human being, and how can we all do it in such a short time?”
Griffin expressed his feelings on the matter to E! News.
“How I describe it is like, you’re standing in life, you’re standing in your power, you’re doing great, and someone comes up behind you and stabs you. That’s how it feels to watch it,” he explained. “It’s a bit jarring and difficult.”
“I don’t think I realized how deep their relationship was,” Griffin explained. “I am disappointed. I had to go several times. I am a real person, and I have feelings,” he stressed.
When asked about her relationship with Griffin versus her ex, Appiah described her relationship with her fiancé as having “the right energy.”
“…And it made me think, like, ‘Wow, this is interesting, it’s happening, I see this person,’ and I have strong feelings for this person, but overall, putting Chelsea and I in the same space, I know that the energy was different, and I knew that it was the right energy. So I’m very happy with how things turned out there,” he explained to Extra TV. (per The Blast)
Griffin Not Satisfied With Social Media Criticism Of Actor
Ahead of the release of the season finale on Netflix, Griffin shared his feelings about the onslaught of critical analysis he and his castmates have received over the past month.
He centered his message around the vintage Coca-Cola campaign “Have a Coke and a Smile” from the late seventies, including a picture of himself enjoying a Coke.
“Oof, the internet can be a very painful place,” she began her message. “This is my reminder that I am a human being with a beating heart and a brain and a family and a job, as are my fellow actors,” he added. “We are not characters to bash and shame. Sincerely, if you don’t have anything nice to say, listen to your mother [sic] advice and don’t say anything. Drink a coke and smile or whatever makes you happy and do something productive,” he shared before wishing his followers a good day.
The cast of “Love Is Blind” season four will reunite for a live reunion this weekend! The reunion will air on Netflix on Sunday, April 16.
