The 27-year-old dental assistant strives to find her happily ever after in the fourth season of Netflix’s blockbuster reality dating series. Bonds was initially set to walk down the aisle with Marshall Glaze, but her instincts led her to end their engagement and explore her relationship with Josh Demas once again.
Navigating the waters of the series’ innovative premise will ultimately land Bond in hot water after the fourth season releases in late March; when fans found out Bonds apparently decided to skip her wedding dress and go out for coffee with Demas instead, the reality star was bombarded with negative social media comments.
As the season progresses, Bonds will unapologetically offer his side of the story on social media, regardless of reception.

Bonds Says Netflix Reportedly Gave One Day’s Notice Before Meeting Before Advising He Wasn’t Attending

Bonds and Demas, who revealed they had been dating for a year, were absent from the live fourth season reunion. Vanessa Lachey instead interviewed the couple via Zoom call.
The duo’s absence surprised viewers, who did not hesitate to express their feelings on social media; many fans were unhappy with Bonds’ absence, calling him out for what they believed to be cowardly behavior. Others were unhappy with the way Lachey appeared to be ‘cool’ in the pair, choosing not to address the controversies Bond faced during the season, including coffee over dates. Bonds took to Instagram and revealed he had broken up with Glaze before dating Demas.
She would later speak to The Wrap, telling the publication that not only did Netflix advise her to talk to a psychologist before the reunion was filmed, the psychologist reportedly advised the couple not to attend the reunion.
“They called for a three way [conference call]and they’re like, ‘Oh, because of your mental health, we don’t think you should come to that meeting.”
Bond described the notice as “a two-day recovery. They told us the day before [the reunion].” (per The Wrap, via Us Weekly)
Bonds Promises Fans He Will ‘Take Accountability’ For Comments Made During Reunion

The reality star was aware of the lukewarm social media reception to her actions during the reunion. After the special, Bonds wrote a lengthy post on his Instagram story in which he promised his followers that he would “take responsibility” for his actions and comments throughout the season.
He also thanked his ex-fiancé for denying speculation that he had cheated on his current partner.

“I want to start this by taking responsibility for my actions and words in my relationship between Marshall and I,” he said. “I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation that Marshall made it clear that I had broken up before meeting Josh at the coffee shop. I understand it’s a quick transition from one relationship to another, but these relationships don’t start out the way most people do in the real world. For some, it may seem like a quick transition. However, there is only a small percentage of what can be shown on tv, and my relationship with Josh is much deeper than what is seen from the audience’s perspective…” he continued the topic.

Bonds showed social media a more positive side to his experience in an Instagram post from Saturday.
Captioning the collage of polaroid photos, she wrote, “22′ summer of love. Summer memories. This ‘Love Is Blind’ experience has been one of my hardest journeys but the biggest blessing. My mother always told me you know who your true soldiers are when your ship sinks. God gives the most brutal battles to his strongest armies. I grow and learn every day, give myself time and grace, and enjoy my life with my family and friends. I am excited about what my future has in store for me [heart emoji],” concludes Bon’s post.
Bonds and Demas have made their relationship public; both have posted photos of each other on their respective Instagram accounts.
