“Love Is Blind” alum Lauren Speed-Hamilton isn’t blind to how much viewers love her!
Season one contestants from the Netflix reality dating series met and fell in love with Cameron Hamilton in the ‘pods’ and the pair are still together today.
It’s probably fair to say “Love Is Blind” viewers are nostalgic to see a Hamilton-like love story on their screens again. The success rate for relationships and marriages from the series has been less than stellar lately; two couples from season one are still married, all married couples from season two are now divorced, and two couples from season three are still together. ‘Love Is Blind’ ‘OG’ Couple Celebrates Milestone Anniversary!

Despite the many rifts among the long-separated ‘LIB’ couple, there are still success stories to celebrate!
Last year, The Blast paid tribute to the Hamiltons and season one couple, Amber and Matt Barnett. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary last year!
For the Hamiltons, their wedding date has a special significance; they tied the knot on Lauren’s birthday in 2018!
The couple’s attraction was evident from the beginning. Mrs Hamilton has opened up about how much she’s enjoying married life after being a single girl for so long! She opened up about the first year of their marriage to Us Weekly after the first season was released in 2020.
“Married life is great,” says Lauren. “I mean, I’ve been single for a long time, okay? And I’ll tell you, it’s better with a partner… it took me a while to get used to it,” he continued. “Like, I’m very independent, I like to do things on my own, and Cameron was like, ‘Let me help you.’ So I have loved it. It’s good to have a partner. It’s good,” he concluded.
What About Having Kiddos?
The subject of small children is definitely the choice of both of them. and it’s the subject of “Love Is Blind” that viewers are sure to want to know!
Mr. Hamilton broached the subject of potential parentage, and it was definitely on the cards; however, the couple wants to wait a little longer before welcoming a little one into their family.
Cameron spoke to Essense and candidly revealed the reason for their wait.
“People are pushing us every day to have a baby,” she told the publication. ‘When are we going to have children?’ That sort of thing. It’s unfortunate because I know other couples are under that pressure, and there are couples out there who can’t get pregnant or don’t want to,” she continued.
“We’ve talked about wanting to have kids on our own timeline,” Hamilton continued to explain. “It’s hard to reorient the focus to just us versus what everyone else is saying.” (via The Blast)
The Hamiltons Have A Lot Of Love To Show For Their Fans!
The duo is still going strong, and so is the audience’s love for the ‘OG’ fan favorite couple “Love Is Blind”!
Mrs Hamilton expressed her appreciation to the couple’s supporters in an Instagram carousel post on Thursday, ahead of the release of the remaining four episodes of the season.
“I appreciate how every time a new #LIB drops you all show me and @cameronreidhamilton love 3 years later. You really held us back,” she captioned the set along with a heart and a grateful hand emoji.
The happy couple are clearly still smitten with each other; Lauren’s photo set includes several pictures of the couple cuddling up while wearing mega-watt smiles!
The Hamiltons may not have children yet, but the two of them have created something special; Lauren and Cameron put pen to paper to tell their love story in 2021! The duo wrote “Leap Of Faith,” which contains a lot of advice from the duo.
Cameron gave fans a glimpse of the book’s contents on Instagram in May of the same year. He wrote, “An important lesson [sic] @needforlspeed and I talk about in our book, ‘Leap Of Faith,’ the importance of prioritizing time with yourself, in addition to prioritizing time for relationships. It’s a lesson that took me a long time to learn (and relearn), but I believe taking care of yourself leads to a better relationship with your partner. When we make ourselves a priority and take the time and space we need, we value our time together more,” he explained.
Episodes six through eight of the fourth season of “Love Is Blind” will be released on Friday, March 31! (per Men’s Health)
