LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne is quickly turning into one of the biggest money-making athletes on social media, as she recently revealed that she was paid over six figures for promotional posts.

Olivia Dunne began her gymnastics journey when she was just three years old, supported by her parents, Katherine and David Dunne. Her sister Julianna also excelled in softball so this was a dedicated sports family. Olivia, known as Livvy to her friends started her career at the prestigious US Classic. Today, Dunne is 20 years old, and heading into her senior year at Louisiana State University as a member of the school’s gymnastics team.
His squad finished fourth nationally this year and along with his athletic achievements, Dunne has also amassed a record social media following with 4.2 million on Instagram and a further 7.6 million on TikTok.
Obviously, whatever Dunne posts, seen by millions of people, and her social media following puts Dunne right at the top as the most famous female college athlete in the country, given the growing landscape for women’s college sports.

Earlier this week, Olivia Dunne appeared on the “Send Full” podcast, holding her own against three male hosts, when she was asked, blank about what kind of money she makes and what the highest amount is for a post. .
Dunne revealed, “I don’t usually talk about money, but… I’d say, six figures.” When pressed to narrow it down to over or under $500,000, Dunne said his highest earnings at a single position was over $500K, admitting, “Yeah, yeah, I’m very lucky. It’s just crazy to me.”
She didn’t reveal what the post was for, or on which platform but clearly, according to NIL earnings, Dunne is second only to Bronny James (son of LeBron James) on the list of highest-paid college athletes, which also makes her the top-earning woman in list.
Dunne and all the other athletes who signed up for lucrative deals on social media have a 2021 Supreme Court decision to thank that determined that the NCAA could not prevent athletes from capitalizing on their name, image and licensing. With this, “amateur” sports became open to making money and it is now a huge field, dominated by Olivia Dunne and Bronny James.
