Actress Jamie Lynn Spears got a free foot massage from her mother, Lynne Spears, who flew all the way from Louisiana to Los Angeles to watch her daughter perform on the season premiere of “Dancing With The Stars.”
While Britney Spears was making headlines for dancing with a knife on Instagram, the “Zoey 101” star was on television doing the tango with her professional dance partner, Alan Bersten.

On Wednesday evening, just one day after the “Dancing With The Stars” season premiere, the “Sweet Magnolias” actress took to Instagram to share a carousel full of photos from the night. Fans flipping through the pictures could see Jamie Lynn snapping a selfie of her feet, showing off her pedicure as she lay in bed.
Her mother sat cross-legged at the end of the bed, massaging her daughter with both hands while leaning on her. There was a bottle of lotion sitting on the bed next to the couple as they worked to soothe Jamie Lynn’s sore muscles before her next dance performance.

“A big THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard to put together such a great production, yet still manage to make it so beautiful, even when you’re so nervous you want to puke,” she captioned this Instagram post.
“A HUGE THANK YOU to all my friends, family and fans for the incredible support and VOTES for us last night! Although Jamie Lynn did not post any videos of her performance, her dance partner Alan shared their dance on her Instagram page. Although the judges only gave them a combined score of 15/30, fans are still raving about his tango!

On Wednesday evening, Alan also took to Instagram to share a video of their performance that night. While there is room for improvement in his performance, Alan has nothing but praise for his celebrity dance partner.

Jamie Lynn Pledges To Donate Her ‘DWTS’ Salary

Just a day before the full celebrity lineup was revealed, the “Sweet Magnolias” actress took to Instagram to announce that she plans to donate her salary to the strike, which is now thankfully over.
“Decided to lace up my dancing shoes for a good cause,” she wrote in the caption. “I’ve been offered a truly incredible opportunity from something I’m used to doing, but it’s while my community #SAG & #WGA are on strike & all of us members can’t work until we reach a fair resolution, so if I can use the opportunity this unique thing to bring more awareness and to donate the salary I get to dance every week back to the community that has given me so much, so that’s the least I can do.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than @alanbersten to guide me through this adventure,” he continued. “I’m not going to lie, I’m scared, but I’m just going to have fun and hopefully give back in a meaningful way so we can ALL GET BACK TO OUR DAY JOBS.” Famous fans and friends were quick to cheer him on in the comments and can’t wait to vote for him again after his next performance!
