For the occasion, a selection of prints featuring images from the book Sex will be offered in an exclusive auction. As PEOPLE reports, an official statement from the organization eloquently stated:
“Christie’s is pleased to announce its participation in the ongoing anniversary celebration initiated by Madonna and the reissue of SEX by Saint Laurent, the boundary-pushing 1992 photography book by Madonna and Steven Meisel.”
The auction, titled “Madonna x Meisel – The Sex Photographs,” will feature more than 40 works, presented as “one editions.” The live sale is set for October 6, 2023, in New York.
