In a new social media post, Madonna detailed what’s important to her and how lucky she is to be alive, writing, “Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. A month out of the hospital and I can reflect.”
She added, “As a Mom, you can really get caught up in your kids’ needs and the seemingly endless gifts… But when the chips are down, my kids really come out for me. I see a side to them which I had never seen before. It made all the difference.”
Madonna shares a daughter, model Lourdes Leon, with Carlos Leon, and a son, Rocco Ritchie, with director Guy Ritchie. She is also the mother of four adopted children – David Banda, Chifundo “Mercy” James, and twins Stella and Estere.
The 64-year-old Queen of Pop is due to embark on an ambitious retrospective tour on July 15, starting in Vancouver. The tour will celebrate his 40 years in the music industry but on June 28, his manager Guy Oseary shared a statement saying that he had a serious bacterial infection “which led to a few days in the ICU. His health is improving, but he is still in treatment medical. A full recovery is expected.”
Here’s what he shared, two weeks ago, detailing his health scare and thanking fans for their love!

Madonna also made sure to thank Guy Oseary, her old manager in her new position, as he apparently presented her with a Polaroid taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket painted with Michael Jackson’s face, which she described as “a perfect triangle.” brilliance … an artist who touched so many lives including my own.”
Madonna admitted to sobbing when she opened the gift, “Because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how lucky I am to know these people and so many others who are also gone.” The “Like A Virgin” singer went on to write, thanking Oseary for his gift, “And Thanks to all my angels who protect me and let me Stay to finish my work!”
The UK leg of the Festival tour is currently scheduled to kick off with four nights at the O2 Arena in London starting October 14 so Madonna is excited about it all after being on the road to recovery.
Fans are just thankful that he’s okay as one person wrote, “I’m so glad you’re still here. I can’t begin to repay you for everything your music has meant to me in my life. I have been a loyal fan since Day 1 in 1983 & have stood by you unwaveringly & unapologetically through thick & thin. Thank you, Madonna.”

While there have been many rumors about how Madonna “faked” her illness due to low ticket sales, the claims are not only cruel but false. In January itself, Billboard reported that 35 of Madonna’s 51 shows sold out the day the tour was announced, with 600,000 tickets sold in just a few hours.
Obviously, someone is spreading false rumors about the singer, but luckily, the tour is ready to start with a delay of several months. Many celebrities also jumped on his post to wish him well and express their concerns. Sharon Stone wrote, “Honey, I’m so worried,” while Donatella Versace sent her white heart emoji.
More fans also expressed their relief that he was okay, writing, “Your fans love you so much M! I hope you know how much you mean to people and how many lives you have changed! You have been a mother to us in the sense of how much you have inspired us! Thanks, so glad to see you’re doing so well!”
