Madonna Sparks Fans’ Nostalgia After Omitting ‘Drowned’ From Past Set Lists

Madonna’s attempt to remind her fans of her best tour experience to date is raising some serious eyebrows!

The icon took his fans down memory lane on his Instagram when he took down a slideshow of all his tours over the years and excluded key details. The mother of six who recently recovered from a serious health scare may just have some explaining to do following this act.

Madonna Fans Seek Justice For Drowned World Tour!

The 65-year-old released a teaser of his upcoming Festival Tour to his more than 19 million followers on Instagram in great style. The post includes all of his headlining tours from 1985 to the present, with his fifth concert tour, The Drowned World Tour, missing from the list.

The 2001 tour lasted four months in support of her seventh and eighth studio albums “Ray of Light” and “Music” released in 1998 and 2001, respectively. Widely regarded as one of Madonna’s best tours, it began on June 9, 2001, in Spain and ended in Los Angeles on September 15, 2001.

The power-packed tour is significant to fans as it marks the end of his eight-year touring career. While the post was made to quell the anticipation of his rescheduled music tour, however, the comments section told a different story as fans gathered there to raise concerns.

One fan commented, “DROWNED WORLD ???,” while another couldn’t hide the nostalgia as they wrote, “But the DROWNED WORLD TOUR gave us a Madonna squat!!!.”

A third fan demanded “Justice” for the abandoned tour, and rightly so, while a fourth fan asked, “No love for the Drowning World Tour?” However, a fifth reviewer felt the omission was unintentional as they wrote:

“Dorowned World might just be left out because you can only fit ten pictures on a post x ???‍♀️”

Madonna, who was released from the hospital in June, was reported by The Blast to have resumed rehearsing at the Nassau Coliseum in New York for the Festival Tour. The “Popular” singer also secured more spots in the UK for dress rehearsals ahead of the grand opening night scheduled for October 14 in London.

According to a source close to the “Hung Up star, he has also booked another place in London for the final dress rehearsal, in their words, “Normally he would have liked to have the last week in the same place he started, but due to the Blink 182 comeback show at the O2, his team won’t have access until the day before.”

This new development means he has less than 48 hours to wrap things up before welcoming fans to the 02 Arena in London. The pop icon previously moved the dates of “The Celebration Tour” by three months while switching venues from Vancouver to London.

Madonna also took time to appreciate her support system and fans after she left the hospital. He considers himself lucky to be alive and says:

“I saw a side of them that I had never seen before. It makes all the difference. Also the love and support from my friends…Thanks to all my angels who protect me and allow me to Stay to finish my work!”

‘Vogue’ Singer Gives Pepsi a Shout

Madonna at Billboard Women In Music 2016MEGA

As Madonna prepares to go on tour, Pepsi finally airs a banned ad starring the award-winning singer. The ad was removed more than 30 years ago due to criticism from the Christian community, including the Vatican, over the message it displayed.

Pepsi got permission to use Madonna’s hit song “Like A Prayer” for a TV commercial after paying singer Per The Blast $5 million. The philanthropist then dropped the controversial music video for the song a day after Pepsi released their ad. The ad was soon removed following outrage over the music video.

However, the ad has made a comeback to mark Pepsi’s 125th anniversary, and it premiered at the MTV VMAs on Tuesday Night. Madonna, whose career has spanned more than 40 years in the industry, took to Instagram to address the move. He shared a clip from the ad and captioned it:

“34 years ago I did a commercial with Pepsi to celebrate the release of my song Like a Prayer. The ad was immediately pulled when I refused to change any scenes in the video where I kissed a black saint or burned a cross.”

The seven-time Grammy winner expressed his gratitude to Pepsi for “recognizing the genius of our collaboration” and stated that “Artists are here to disrupt the order.”
