The “Frozen” singer kicked off her Mother’s Day celebration with a heartfelt post on her Instagram. The update features a video which is a compilation of pictures of her and her children. The beautiful clip begins with a picture of Madonna as a child and her late mother.

It then moves on to show the singer’s motherhood journey from when she was pregnant to spending time with her children.

In the accompanying caption, the 64-year-old singer bares her heart, highlighting her journey into motherhood. He began his message by emphasizing that he misses his late mother.

“I miss my mother every day And have fantasized for decades about what it would be like to have a mother to: ask for help, guidance, care, and wisdom.”

Continuing her caption, the Grammy winner opened up about her acceptance of motherhood. She wrote, “I rejected the idea of being a mother until my 30s because I associated motherhood with sacrifice, suffering, and ultimately death, and I didn’t want any of that.”

However, the “Vogue” hitmaker took a bold step and decided to become a mother, regardless of the challenges. “When I finally became a mother, I was struck by how strong I felt but also dazed and confused about how I was going to figure out the balancing act between being a good mother and an uncompromising artist.”

He explained, “I went through many years half-blind and made many mistakes. Because Every mother knows there is no manual or rule book to follow. You have to dive in and figure it out. I have experienced my highs and lows as a Mother. No one can provide for me.”

Concluding her caption, the singer stated that she was proud of her children and thanked them for choosing her as a mother.

This isn’t the first time the iconic singer has been candid about her motherhood struggles. In January, “Material Girl” interviewed the Vanity Fair singer about juggling a successful career and being a mother.

He said, “It’s the hardest thing, the hardest battle. It’s probably the trickiest clown show to handle.”

She added, “Even today, I struggle to understand how to be a mother and do my job. Because after all, whoever you are, having a child and raising a child is a work of art. And no one gives you a manual. You have to learn from your mistakes. It is a time-consuming job. And it’s tiring because you never rest.”

Although Madonna’s motherhood journey has not been stellar, she loves to show off her children. Last month, the proud mother showed off her twin daughters, Stella and Estere, showing off their creative skills.

Estere matched her look with a veil of various colors, including pink. Instead, Stella accessorized with a gray beanie and a blue clutch purse.

Undoubtedly, the mother of six has succeeded in raising her children even as she keeps them in tune with attention. Earlier this year, Madonna took to her Insta Story to share some of the house rules her kids follow.

The board included a list of five rules, namely, “Smile,” “Be happy,” “Listen to others,” “Speak Nicely,” and “Be happy with what you have.”
