The reality TV star, whose real name is June Shannon, became a household sensation after appearing on TLC’s “Toddlers & Tiaras.” The entertainer joined the program with his youngest daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

In a recent heart-to-heart talk with DailyMail, the TV personality shared details about her weight loss struggles. Fans of the blonde beauty watched the entertainer go from a size eighteen to a size four on her We TV show.
After losing 300 pounds in 2017 thanks to a diet and bariatric surgery that removed part of his stomach, the 43-year-old has regained some of those lost pounds. Opening up about her current weight, Shannon said:
“I only gained 100 pounds, and I actually gained that weight before I knew it. I was literally at 241 pounds for almost two years; God really wanted me where I am now.”
The reality TV star continued, “Eventually, in your weight loss journey, you hit a kind of plateau, and I’ve reached 241,” adding that she doesn’t cheat on her diet. “I don’t drink soda; I don’t drink tea; I don’t snack like I used to.”
When asked if she wants to lose extra weight with Hollywood’s trendy “quick fix” drugs, Ozempic, the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star, expressed no interest in using diabetes drugs.
“I didn’t want to try Ozempic because, honestly, I’ve heard about a lot of bad side effects,” the parent explained. “It’s using a drug that’s not really prescribed to do that. They use diabetes medication to maintain weight loss.”
The drug, claimed to be used by celebrities such as Elon Musk and Chelsea Handler, was initially used to treat type II diabetes before gaining attention as a weight loss prescription.

Although the drug reportedly has an active ingredient that helps people control their eating habits, the TLC alum says she doesn’t agree to manage her weight with a drug that wasn’t created for that purpose.
As a recovering drug addict, the 43-year-old explained that the thought made him uncomfortable. “No offense to the people who did it, but it’s not for me. I want to stay clean. I’m not judging anyone, but it’s not for me,” said the media personality.
