According to marriage records, the couple’s marriage certificate reveals that their ceremony took place on March 4 in Wilkinson County, Georgia. Cardwell reportedly wants to get married while he still feels strong enough for the wedding ceremony.

Cardwell and her husband, Eldridge Toney, were married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Wilkinson County, Georgia, nine months before her tragic death from cancer.
The 29-year-old reportedly pushed to tie the knot with Toney after learning of his cancer diagnosis in January. At the time, Cardwell emphasized that he wanted to get married while he still felt strong enough to participate in the wedding ceremony. Cardwell and Toney finally tied the knot in March, the same month she reportedly began chemotherapy.
The couple’s wedding was reportedly attended by close family members and a camera crew filming for her family’s WE TV reality show, “Mama June: From Not to Hot.”
Although the couple has no children together, Cardwell is mother to daughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Kylee Madison from a previous relationship.

Mama June shared the news of her daughter’s death on social media, expressing how devastated her family was by the 29-year-old’s death. Cardwell battled the devastating disease after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer earlier this year, in January.
“With broken hearts, we announce that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. He passed away at my house last night peacefully at 11:12 pm,” June wrote on her Instagram page.
He continued, “He gave an hour— a 10 month struggle he died with his family around him as if he wasn’t going to make it and we will update you all with more information as we get it today. We love you all and continue to pray and think for our family [during] these difficult times.”
June’s heartbreaking post was accompanied by an image of Cardwell surrounded by family members, including her younger sister, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

Shortly after the news of Cardwell’s death was announced, Thompson, her younger sister and former star of the reality TV show “Toddlers & Tiaras,” paid tribute to her sister with a touching post.
The 18-year-old shared a family photo in her post and wrote in the caption, “This is one post I wish I never had to make. Last night we all surrounded Anna with love & told her it was okay to go. Unfortunately, around 11pm Anna breathed her last.”
He acknowledged his sister’s year-long battle with the disease and spoke of the pain he witnessed, adding: “Anna was in a lot of pain last night but now as a family we all know she is safe.”
“I really don’t know what to say because my heart is really broken. Watching my 29-year-old sister last year battle this horrible disease has not been easy. Anna was & still is a fighter. Lord, please hug her 2 babies & our family because in the next few days this will all come true,” Thompson wrote about her late sister.

In her tribute, Thompson noted how happy her sister was to wait until she was home before taking her “last breath” and how she wanted to see her graduate college.
“I’m so glad you waited until I got home to take your last breath! I want you to see me graduate from college but I know you will always make me happy in heaven! We will all ensure that your legacy lives on forever,” said Thompson.
He continued, “And I promise to always make sure to celebrate our birthdays like you never left! The sky looks a little different today. We will always love you Anna. You hit me hard with that one Anna but I know you [sic] in a better place now and pain free forever!”
