As if adjusting to the whirlwind of motherhood wasn’t challenging enough, the “Candy” singer was devastated when her son’s precious stroller disappeared without a trace. Luckily for the actress, her home security camera caught the alleged thief in action.
Refusing to contain her frustration and disappointment, Moore took to her Instagram story to share a screenshot of the incriminating video with the caption, “People are the worst.”
The footage shows the package left unattended at a white gate while a suspicious figure in a blue shirt hovers in nearby bushes. Below the snap, he continued:
“I wonder where the @cybex_usa stroller I ordered for Ozzie went. I went back and forth with customer service and @fedex, and I swore to them it didn’t ship, and then I found this video (which won’t post here for some reason).”

The “This is Us” star called out the alleged thief’s bravery, angrily stating, “This guy watched for an hour while the boxes sat outside and then climbed the hillside to grab them.”
The harrowing event has no doubt put a strain on the 39-year-old and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, who are enjoying the joys of parenthood as they watch their family grow.
The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate backyard ceremony in 2018, welcomed their first bundle of joy, August “Gus” Harrison, in February 2021. Continuing their journey as loving parents, they celebrated the arrival of their second son, Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett Goldsmith, in October 2022.
Before announcing the happy news of expecting their second child, the “In Real Life” singer previously shared her desire to experience pregnancy again during an episode of the “Informed Pregnancy Podcast” with Dr. Elliot Berlin. In a heartfelt revelation, Moore stated:
“I’ve said to my husband so many times — and really anyone who’s come to listen — I’m like, ‘I can’t wait to do it again.’ Although the trip was sad, I miss it.”
Despite her challenges, the “I Wanna Be With You” artist looks back fondly, realizing that it brought her beloved son Gus into her life. In a candid moment, the “Chasing Liberty” star took to Instagram in January 2023 to share the reality of parenting a child under the age of two.
