Unbeknownst to the former pro football player, 47, as he looked at his phone and enjoyed a coffee while singing along to Carey’s holiday song, his wife was recording her solo concert performance. When she realizes she’s being noticed, she perfectly throws a high note with a smile, but not before Victoria remarks, “You struggle with high notes, don’t you?” David replied in a cheeky playful tone as he said, “How about you?”
Of course, the Internet went wild and Victoria’s Instagram post received more than a million views and tons of comments. One comment that stands out the most – Carey!
“My new favorite song ? love you all! ❤️?❤️?,” Carey wrote. He also took a screenshot of Victoria’s video and added his own celebratory touch before sharing it on his Instagram Story to show his appreciation for David’s rendition.

David also commented on the Instagram video, “? @victoriabeckham ??” Journalist and media personality Derek Blasberg took to the comments section to pose the question, “What can’t she do? ❤️” Many other followers also commented on David’s singing ability. “The ending was amazing though wow,” wrote one. Another added, “She could be a Spice Girl! He has a pipe.”
CBS TV joined in the chat to plug the upcoming special, “Looks like you both liked our December 20th special ?” They were referring to “Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!,” a two-hour concert special filmed in Madison Square Garden which will be broadcast on December 20. Carey will perform holiday hits, including the ones David loves to sing in his kitchen.

The Spice Girl, 48, also shared the fun on her TikTok page, captioning the video, “David gave us the best @mariahcarey ??Who sang it best? ? xx VB,” received more than 8 million views and thousands of comments.
Many of her TikTok followers commented on her husband’s singing ability and the joy he brought to them. “I need this today. Who knew David Beckham casually scrolling on his phone singing Christmas carols could cause such joy,” one follower wrote in a comment.
Another added, “Then he let out a perfect pitch at the end!!!” Someone suggested adding her to the Spice Girls, “Sixth member of the Spice Girls ???” Another follower added to the suggestion saying, “If you can’t make the next reunion send David ?”
