Mariah Carey is helping out her fellow musical powerhouses!

The “O Holy Night” singer appears to have weighed in on Darlene Love’s new selling status two weeks after they settled their feud. The pair had briefly clashed over Carey’s public desire to trademark the phrase “Queen of Christmas” ahead of Love and Elizabeth Chan, another Christmas caroler.

When the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board killed Carey’s attempt to trademark the title after she and her company — Lotion LLC — failed to answer an objection from Chan, Love was overjoyed.

His joy soon went into overdrive after an effusive Instagram shoutout from Carey helped him achieve an incredible and unexpected feat. The accolade has seen the “Obsessed” singer give the “All Alone on Christmas” hitmaker the Christmas queen tag.

TMZ received a message from Love’s team stating that the nod from Carey helped them sell out all 11 of her holiday shows. The singer’s rep, Len Evans, who sent out the statement, noted that while his client hasn’t spoken to Carey in person since the drama began, he couldn’t be more excited after his fellow singer’s high praise.

Shortly after the broadcast went live, several fans who had previously divided loyalties between the mother of two and the 81-year-old began contacting them. “I wasn’t a fan before and never heard of you, but if Mariah says you’re the Queen of Christmas, then I’m a fan,” someone DMed her.

The drama between the two Christmas singers began in March when reports emerged that the “We Belong Together” hitmaker had filed to trademark the title “QOC” after gaining it unofficially thanks to the annual success of his 2011 hit, “All I Want For Christmas .”

The trademark application was later made public in July, and it was revealed that Carey requested exclusive use of “Queen of Christmas” along with other titles such as “QOC,” “Princess of Christmas” and “Princess of Christmas.”

A month after the filing became public, The Blast reported that Chan and Darlene criticized the “Hero” singer for trying to monopolize the holiday season.

In fact, Chan — a beloved music artist who loves Christmas carols and carols — immediately went to court to challenge the “Touch My Body” hitmaker’s trademark appeal. The “Best Gift Ever” singer’s lawyer has filed an official declaration against Carey’s trademark. During a joint interview, Chan and his lawyer said:

“Christmas has come before any of us on earth, and hopefully will come after any of us on earth. And I feel very strongly that no one should hold onto anything around Christmas or monopolize it in the way that Mariah is trying to forever.”

Chan emphasized that Christmas belongs to everyone and that he can support Carey as he “tries to trademark this in every way imaginable – clothes, liquor products, masks, dog collars.”

Love Speaks Out Against Carey’s QOC Trademark Application

The Blast shared last month that while Chan and his legal team are working hard to stop Carey’s petition, Love has addressed the issue, claiming that she has also been referred to as the “Queen of Christmas” long before the “Without You” singer released her chart-topping single. .

“David Letterman officially declared me the Queen of Christmas 29 years ago, a year before he released ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,’ and at 81, I would NOT change a thing,” the star shared on Facebook in August, before adding:

“I’ve been in the business 52 years, have earned it, and can still hit that note! If Mariah has a problem, call David or my lawyer!!”

If Carey’s application is approved, he will have the right to impose a cease and desist order against anyone using the phrase to refer to themselves or others, including individuals, radio and television stations.
