However, a source close to the show has now confirmed to The Daily Mail Meghan has no intention of acting in the upcoming “Suits” spin-off despite creators creating the “perfect role” for the royal.

Insiders, however, hinted that the Duchess of Sussex is exploring the possibility of being an executive producer on the show by involving her company, Archewell, in the production.

“Meghan is clear that she does not want to be involved as an actress. But Archewell is trying to come in as a spin-off production company,” an insider told the news outlet. “NBC killed that idea.”

However, sources close to Archewell have vehemently denied such talks, insisting that the duchess’s company would never consider getting involved with the series.

Reflecting on the show’s revival, Meghan, who portrayed paralegal Rachel Zane in the original series, told Diversity during the event he had “no idea” about the show’s continued popularity but added, “A good show is forever.”

“It’s hard to find a show that you can watch a lot of episodes of these days,” Meghan said. “So that might have something to do with it.”
