After making a memorable debut on Netflix’s favorite reality show, “Selling Sunset,” Marie-Lou Nurk opened up about her time on the hit show and her relationship, or lack thereof, with her tumultuous cast.
Nurk rose to fame after stealing Jason Oppenheim’s heart following her headline-grabbing split from co-star Chrishell Stause. The couple became an item in July 2022 and have gone from strength to strength, with the real estate mogul taking big steps to introduce her to his Oppenheim Group family.

Days after the season six premiere of the real estate reality show, Nurk used his Instagram Stories to host a Q&A session with his nearly 68,000 followers. The first question from a curious fan who asks, “Are you friends with any of the actors?”
Sporting a casual look in a long-sleeved white top, the 25-year-old styled her blonde hair into a short bob and adorned her face with subtle make-up as she answered with a clip.
“Okay, let’s do it. I like some actors,” he said before elaborating. “Mary [Fitzgerald], for example, very sweet; Amanza [Smith] funny and smart…Chealse [Lazanki] also very smart and funny. I love them.”
He praised new addition Nicole Young, saying she has “the biggest heart.” Nurk added that Young was a “perfect friend” for him. The model, who has South African heritage, also mentioned Heather Rae El-Moussa, stating that she doesn’t know the mother-of-one well enough.
As for the rest of the cast who weren’t mentioned, Nurk offered a quip, saying, “And the rest… they’re fine,” while fighting back a smile. He urged his fans to watch season 7 to find out what happens. Excluded cast members are new additions Bre Tiesi, Emma Herman, Davina Potratz, and Stause, her closest ex-boyfriend.
For those who have been following the latest season of “Selling Sunset”, Nurk and Stause’s first meeting was not very friendly. So it’s no wonder she doesn’t like the “All My Children” alum.
Another fan asked the Economics graduate if he would appear in the upcoming seventh season, and he said yes. Opening up, he said, “I can’t say too much, but yes. A lot is going to happen, and maybe too much.”
Parisians Respond to Negative Statements About 20-Year Age Difference.
As expected, the Q&A session got more interesting with each question, with one fan asking the 25-year-old how he felt when cast members made snide remarks about the age difference between him and Oppenheim.
As you know, Group President Oppenheim is 46 — 20 years older than Nurk, who will turn 26 later this year. The famous twin is no stranger to dating women younger than him, but the rift between him and his girlfriend became a major topic of discussion in the latest season of “Selling Sunset.”
“Are you offended by the ageist digs women keep making?” asked the fan. Speaking candidly about the eyebrow-raising statement, Nurk replied, “Well, negative comments, when people talk about you, especially women are not the easiest things to deal with.”
However, the model signed by the Marilyn Agency declares that everyone should deal with it. Nurk went on to explain that she believes discussions of age are due to societal pressures on women to “look a certain way,” resulting in superficial insecurities that breed comparison.
She urged women to focus on putting each other up rather than tearing each other down. Despite the negative remarks Nurk may have received about his age, he and Oppenheim seem to be going strong.
A few weeks before the show’s premiere, she opened up about their blossoming romance and shared tips on how they’re enjoying their long-distance relationship. Nurk lives in Paris, while the 46-year-old is based in Los Angeles.
“Long distance relationships can be difficult, but we are committed to making them work. We communicate regularly and make time for each other even though we are far apart,” he shared.
