TERRIBLE news! One of my favorite comedies in years is smart, well written & expertly performed by a brilliant ensemble cast. Oh- one more thing: it’s always SO FUNNY. Fingers crossed it will be picked up elsewhere like Brooklyn 99 & Taxi.#EverythingILlikeGetsCancelled ? https://t.co/lpeoVcnBop

Fans agree with “The Machine” cast that the show was canceled too soon. “So are we. They expect immediate success. If it doesn’t get the ratings they expect fast enough, and it’s not financially productive to achieve the goal. They get cancelled. It’s sad that they can’t give more time to the plan for them to grow in the audience. The show [are] canceled too soon,” commented one fan.

“I’ll definitely have to go back to this one. I was distracted by so many falling at once. Feels like we have so much solid content that some people get the ax too quickly due to the overflow of programming on different platforms,” another follower shared.

Some users actually expressed interest in watching the show, claiming that they had never heard of it. “It sounds like the kind of show I like, but I’ve never heard of it. Looks like they didn’t do a good job of marketing it, which would be NBC’s fault,” another fan chimed in.

Fortunately for fans of Justin Spitzer, his new show, “St. Denis Medical,” has been given a series order by NBC and is expected to debut next season. Fans interested in watching the first two seasons of “American Auto” can stream it on Peacock.
