Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey recently opened up about the possibility of having a relationship with Woody Harrelson.
The “A Time To Kill” star revealed that her mother “knew” Harrelson’s father when she was a child and joked that there might be an arrest.

During a recent appearance on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast, the “Magic Mike” actor, 53, claimed he may be related to the 61-year-old Harrelson.
The pair, who previously worked together on the HBO crime anthology “True Detective,” are set to team up on the Apple TV+ series “Brother From Another Mother,” but McConaughey speculated that they might be siblings from the same mother.
The actor’s suspicions were strengthened by his mother’s revelation that she was familiar with Harrelson’s father.
McConaughey told the host, “You know, where I start and where he ends, and where he starts and where I end, is always like a blurry line. And that’s part of our bromance, right?”
He further said that there is confusion in their family as family members often confuse their identities with each other.
“My kids call him Uncle Woody. His children call me Uncle Matthew. And you look at our pictures, and my family thinks a lot of his pictures are me. His family thinks many of my pictures are of him,” he said, per Insider.

The “Sing” actor’s suspicions about their blood relationship were heightened by a cryptic message his mother shared about “knowing” the “Now You See Me” actor’s father when she was a child.
“In Greece a few years ago, we talked about how close we and our family are. And my mom was there, and she said, ‘Woody, I know your dad,'” McConaughey recounted.
“Everyone is aware of the ellipsis my mother left after ‘know.’ It is a loaded KNOW,” he added, referring to his suspicions of a sexual encounter between them.
“We continued to unravel the meaning of this ‘know’ and did some calculations and discovered that his father was on vacation at the same time my mother and father were in their second divorce. Then there’s the possibility of receipts and places in West Texas where there may have been gatherings, meetings or ‘in-the-know’ moments,” McConaughey quipped.

McConaughey implied that he would rather remain in the dark about the validity of his suspicions than confirm them with a DNA test with Harrelson because it would change everything for him.
The actor said in the podcast, “This is what we’re at the precipice of right now. See, it’s easier for Woody to say, ‘Come on, let’s do it!’ for what is the skin in it for him?”
He continued, “It was kind of hard for me because he asked me to take the opportunity to go, ‘Wait a minute, you’re trying to tell me that my dad might not be my dad after 53 years of believing him?’ I got a little more skin in the game.”

The actor was in transit to Germany with his wife, Camila Alves, when his Lufthansa flight plunged 4000 feet in the sky. The flight experienced turbulence and had to make an emergency landing in Washington, DC, but the scariest part of the event was that McConaughey was untethered.
“It’s my tray table that’s holding me back. I was not wearing a seat belt and there was no seat belt warning before it happened. I quickly reached for her, making sure Camila was wearing her seat belt,” he said.
The actor’s wife shared video footage of the incident to her Instagram page, and McConaughey stated that they were holding hands in anticipation of more turmoil.
“We were holding hands just saying, ‘OK, is that it? Anyone else coming?’ Another one came. It is odd. You hear people’s reactions. Some of the ghosts were silent. Some people have a big laugh. And it’s not like, ‘Oh, this is fun.’ It was like, ‘I’m shocked,’” he explained.
