Matthew McConaughey & Son Levi Provide Relief Efforts In Maui

Matthew McConaughey and his 15-year-old son, Levi, are the coolest father-son duo out there, as they recently came together on social media to lend a helping hand to disaster-stricken Maui. Fans appreciate McConaughey not only for being the perfect example of how a celebrity should be, but also for leading by example for his children.

Levi & Matthew McConaughey Make Appeal for Maui

Matthew McConaughey, Camila and Levi reached out to MauiMEGA

Matthew McConaughey recently posted a social media appeal to his 8.3 million followers, along with his son Levi. The McConaugheys, including Camila, partnered with Baby2Baby, and funded an emergency relief plane, “filled with hundreds of thousands more emergency supplies that will immediately impact children and families on Maui.”

Next, Baby2Baby works with several partners on the ground, namely Aloha Diaper Bank, Maui Food Bank, Pacific Birth Collective, and Maui Rapid Response.

As Levi McConaughey said, any help would be appreciated. The post also contains links to places where people can discuss.

Both Jessica Alba and Michelle Monaghan thanked the McConaughey family for their help. Meanwhile, fans were equally disappointed, as one person wrote, “Dude just ran for president ?”

Here’s the post, and Levi looks so much like Camila, with her dad’s hair, it’s so sweet.

Fans Overwhelmed With Kindness Matthew McConaughey & Family

The Maui wildfires have left 106 dead and thousands homelessMEGA

It wasn’t long after the “Dallas Buyers Club” actor was thanked, many times by fans and the organization he named in his post. The official Baby2Baby handler was the first to comment, writing, “Thank you, McConaughey family, for your generous support during this crisis in Maui. With your help, we’re getting hundreds of thousands more emergency supplies into the hands of children who need them the most.”

Another fan, moved by everything McConaughey has done, wrote, “Thank you for being an example of what a celebrity should do, and a great example for your children.”

An emotional parent also praised the father of three, commenting, “I may not have needed a magical life as a child, but I will make it my mission to get my children the life you gave me. You is an inspiration, Matthew.”

Another parent who experienced some of the devastation on Maui was personally very grateful, writing, “Thank you. I have a pregnant daughter in Maui. The stories from the locals are heartbreaking and beyond anything most of us have ever experienced. experience…. and pray we never do. Thanks for your help!”

There are plenty of other disgruntled commentators out there too, those who feel that America is doing more for Ukraine than for one of its own island nations. Sadly, the death toll from the worst US wildfire in more than 100 years rose to 106 on Wednesday, and hundreds of Mauians and others are still missing. There was an estimated $7 billion in economic damage with thousands left homeless, especially in Lahaina. Amid growing concern over whether Lahaina residents will be able to rebuild, President Joe Biden’s “one-time relief payment of $700 per household” on Maui came as an insult with many criticizing the government for doing too little, too late .

It’s up to celebrities like Matthew McConaughey and Jason Momoa to keep the funding coming…

In a post dated July, Mcconaughey said, “Today, Camila and I launched the Greenlights Grant Initiative to simplify the federal grant application process for schools. We want to help connect communities, students and teachers with resources to support mental health programs and safer learning environments.”

The idea is to spread the word about this “green money” in schools so they can apply for grants and make American schools safer for everyone.

As one fan wrote, “Man this kid has no idea how awesome you are!”
