Megan Thee Stallion’s BF, Pardison ‘Pardi’ Fontaine, Stands By All Women

The jury is still out in the trial of Tory Lanez, accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in both legs during an alcohol-fueled fight. The alleged incident took place on a residential street in the Hollywood Hills on July 12, 2020, and while the crowd took sides, Megan’s current boyfriend Thee Stallion stood by her, and all the women. Pardison ‘Pardi’ Fontaine just made a strong statement on Instagram, so scroll down to see what he had to say.

Tory Lanez, 30, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was charged in October 2020 with one felony count each of assault with a semi-automatic firearm causing bodily injury, grossly negligent discharge of a firearm, and carrying a concealed, loaded, unregistered firearm in vehicle.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges in November 2020 and has been on trial since then, and on Wednesday, he refused to testify on his own behalf, as his lawyer admitted to two years of torture. If convicted as charged, the “Alone at Prom” rapper faces a possible 22 years and eight months in prison and subsequent deportation, given that he is a Canadian citizen.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion has no such doubts, as she takes a stand. The Grammy winner recounted hearing Peterson say “Dance, b–ch” before he opened fire with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun. The 27-year-old man was hit by several shrapnel during the roadside attack, according to doctors’ testimony during the trial.

On December 13, Megan Thee Stallion took the stand alongside Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta. Along with her account of what happened, she also expressed her frustration with how the case played out in the media as well as among male musicians.

Although the “Savage” singer previously denied having a sexual relationship with Lanez at the time of the incident, she has now revealed that she was involved with him, something that has made many people vilify her ever since.

Megan said, “every man in a position of power in the music industry has been in their favor. Not a day goes by without [me] called a liar. This is all about who I had sex with, not who shot me, and I don’t know why.”

At the time, as Megan explained at Kathy Ta’s prompting, she didn’t want to discuss the shoot because she was on a higher career trajectory. “I just did a song with Beyoncé, and now she knows I got shot. I just did something I wanted, and now it’s going to be overshadowed…. The situation is worse for me while he’s more popular — I’ve turned into a kind of villain while he’s a hero.”

All this also affected her relationship with her boyfriend, Pardison ‘Pardi’ Fontaine, who she has been with for the past two years.

And today, Fontaine also made a sharp statement, something that shows his solidarity with Megan.

The 32-year-old penned a poignant message, writing, “To any women especially black ones who have experienced injustice”.

He then continued, pointing to the unnecessary cursing Megan faced, “I feel for you. When you have the courage to speak up .. it seems you will be ridiculed .. your credibility will [be] questioned .. your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass .. in the blink of an eye, you can go from victim to defendant in the public eye..”

He ended his message with, “To anyone who has a daughter Aunt or aunt. I pray for their protection.. I pray for their protection.. I would not wish this on anyone.”
