Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a flight to the Caribbean island just days after attending a conference on climate change and its impact on mental health.
The two allegedly departed from New Jersey to Canouan on a private jet and used the same plane for the four-hour trip to Atlanta, Georgia, before returning to California.

Reports reveal that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle boarded a private jet for their trip to Canouan in St. Vincent and the Grenadines after attending a summit on the effects of climate change on mental health.
Harry and Meghan also used the same aircraft, a Dassault Falcon 7X jet, to travel from the exclusive Island retreat back to Atlanta, Georgia. The journey is said to take four hours.
According to Mirrorthe pair were called “hypocrites” for the way they set up jets, especially given how much more fuel private jets use per passenger than airlines.
The royal couple attended the October 10 conference organized by Project Healthy Minds, where the son of the late Robin Williams, Zak Williams, spoke about how climate change affects the mental health of people, especially young people.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex once discussed their interest in the environment and green energy during their interview with Oprah Winfrey, where Harry highlighted climate change and mental health as critical issues.
The 39-year-old prince said, “I increasingly believe that climate change and mental health are two of the most pressing issues we face, and are in many ways linked.”
According to the news outlet, Harry and Meghan’s recent flight totaled 4,000 miles with an estimated 9.6 tons of CO2 emissions.

A source disclosed to Mirror that the Falcon 7X jet used by the royal couple belongs to Harry’s close friend, who owns property in Canouan.
They also claim that Harry and Meghan flew commercially from California to New York before the mental health conference and took another commercial flight from Atlanta to return home after a brief stopover on the Caribbean island.
Harry and Meghan faced harsh criticism in 2019 for their lifestyle. The two took four private jet flights over the course of 11 days, including one to legendary singer Sir Elton John’s home in Nice, France.
Norman Baker, a former MP and Liberal Democrat who studied the environmental impact of Harry and Meghan’s trip, said both were “hypocrites.”
“There is only one thing worse than unnecessarily damaging the environment through travel habits, and that is hypocrisy about the importance of climate change. [They] failed on both counts. If you can’t stop traveling in private jets, at least shut up about climate change,” Baker said of the two, according to Mirror.

The book adaptation will serve as their first non-personal, fictional film project from their Netflix deal. “Meet Me At The Lake” is a love story about a couple dealing with the loss of a parent, mental health issues, childhood trauma and depression.
The storyline and characters in the novel are claimed to be similar to Harry and Meghan’s experiences together. It also includes “steamy sex scenes” and “drug use” and is set in Canada, where Meghan was living when she met Harry.

In the documentary “Heart of Invictus”, Harry revealed the affectionate nickname he calls Meghan. It happened during the scene where the Duchess introduced the Duke on stage in The Hague during last year’s pageant.
Meghan praised her lover, with whom she shares two children, Archie and Lilibet. He stated, “I couldn’t love and respect him more, and I know many of you feel the same because he is your fellow veteran, having served two tours of Afghanistan and ten years of military service, and the founder of the Invictus Games.”
After a glowing speech from the Duchess, Harry said, “Thank you, my love,” as he took to the stage to deliver his speech. The couple put on a very friendly performance at the recent Invictus Games, held in Düsseldorf, Germany.
