He explained, “My ears are ringing abnormally [and] oxygen drops. The pilot didn’t explain, but the flight attendant began to panic, yelling, “PUT ON YOUR MASK. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! (Shouldn’t they be calm!? It’s the opposite of calm).”
The TV personality spoke about her reaction and that of others on the plane, writing, “I texted my family, I love them and got a little dizzy from the adrenaline response in my body. The old man across the aisle was shaking so bad he couldn’t wearing his mask, so the flight attendant ran to him with her portable oxygen and put his mask on feverishly.”
Still recounting her unfortunate experience, the mother of three stated that “at 10,000 feet, the pilot finally said, “You can take off your mask. We’ll be landing shortly in, um, Louisiana.”
After landing safely, he explained that “firefighters rushed to the plane,” and fire trucks exited the plane to accompany them. “We were all shocked and told there would be no flight until the next day – and that was all we ever knew about the incident.
