Now they don’t necessarily tell her what to wear but there are so many restrictions on what she can’t wear that it leaves very little choice. He ended up being stuck with a “muted tone” while in the UK.

He felt trapped in the darker shadows of autumn all year. “So I was like, ‘Well, what color would they probably never wear? Camel? Beige? White?'” she revealed that at that point she was focused on trying to just “blend in,” and not ruffle feathers or step on any toe.
“I’m not trying to stand out here. So there’s no version of me joining this family and trying not to do everything I can to fit in.” Markel admitted he was very worried about embarrassing “the family”.
She took the opportunity once to step out and show up in some color, an orange dress for the gala, and while it was liberating it only happened after she and Harry stepped down from their royal duties.

The former actress has shared in the past that leaving England was the only option for her and her family and Harry has supported her. The prince shared that he saw his wife falling apart in front of him and needed to make drastic changes.
“I don’t want to live anymore,” Markle said in an interview with Oprah. “I’ll sit down at night, and I’m just like, ‘I don’t understand how this all came up.” He clearly said to Oprah when asked by the host, “Do you think about hurting yourself? Do you have suicidal thoughts?”
Markel replied, “Yes. This is very clear.”
Harry Sees Another Problem

Harry also saw things his wife still didn’t understand such as the similarities in the way her mother Princess Diana and Meghan were treated. He did not feel as if his wife was protected and he wrote that down to the color of her skin.
Markle stated that she felt trapped inside the palace and “couldn’t, you know, call an Uber to the palace.”
All the allegations prompted Prince William to make a statement saying, “We are not a racist family.” The “institution” has long been associated with racist behavior and Markle’s journey shines a light on it.
The couple’s documentary launched on Netflix on December 8 and it’s already causing a stir among viewers.
