Singer Meghan Trainor is ready to go to the second round after welcoming her first child, a son named Riley, in February 2021. The singer recently revealed that she might have been pregnant a few months ago, but she and her husband had to consider their busy schedules.
Trainor also talked about her mother’s group, a Los Angeles-based group of mothers that Hilary Duff created and invited her to. The group also includes Ashley Tisdale and Mandy Moore, among others. Trainor said she has been a part of the group for over a year but is still shocked and nervous around them.

The singer also admitted that her husband, Daryl Sabara, was very surprised by the group, especially Moore, who he idolized growing up. For now, however, the couple is focused on raising their son and planning for their next little girl.

Meghan Trainor Is Ready For Her Second Child

Almost two years after the birth of her son, Riley, Meghan Trainor says she can’t wait to be pregnant again. She recently opened up about her plans for baby number two Us Weekly at an exclusive preview of the new Lego DOTS pop-up event in Los Angeles.
Trainor said, “If I could have gotten pregnant a few months ago, I definitely would have. We’re just busy and I don’t want to be, like, nauseous while doing all these fun things.” Trainor explained that she was going to travel a lot around the world, so she had to push back on her plans for her next pregnancy.

However, he shared that by November or December, he’ll be “trying to tap.” Trainor also said that she “would love a daughter” and is already thinking of ways to increase her chances of getting a girl. He said, “I’m going to eat acidic food because I hear it helps you get a girl.”

She’s Part Of Hilary Duff’s Mom Squad

At least, when Trainor gets pregnant again, she’ll still have her mother’s band to support her through the journey. The Los Angeles-based group was created by Hilary Duff, who invited Trainor to join the exclusive group during her first pregnancy. Other notable members include Ashley Tisdale and Mandy Moore.
The “All About That Bass” singer said, “Hilary invited me, blessed me with the opportunity, and I owe her my life.” He also said that he still finds being a member of the group a surreal experience and has to pinch himself every time they meet. Trainor said, “Every day I’m like, ‘Be cool, be cool, be cool.’ It’s been, like, a year and a half, and I’m like, ‘Be cool.'”

Meghan Trainor’s Husband Also Starred

The “Dear Future Husband” singer also shared that her husband, Sabara, was like a star when they accepted her invitation to the group and met the famous members. In particular, he said, Sabara was drawn to Moore, whom he liked growing up.
Trainor said, “You know, Daryl named his hamster Mandy Moore growing up. So we acted because we were there trying to be really cool about it, but we freaked out.” Moore is currently pregnant with her second child and has an 18-month-old son with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith.
The trainer also told Us Weekly that she embraced the sisterhood of the mother group. She said, “This is where we escape from work, and we just shut up and talk about our babies” and also added that the women chat about the weird and wonderful things that have happened in their week.

He Focuses On His Children And Career

Apart from the mother group, Trainor is also very busy with her career and her children. The “Smurfs: The Lost Village” actor has a new album coming out this October and is gearing up for its release with intense publicity.
Trainor also talked about her son, saying that he is already a little “actor”. He also shared that Riley is a big fan of toys, especially LEGO sets, just like the new LEGO DOTS.
Trainor added, “He gets big LEGO blocks and likes to put things together [them]. Honestly, you give the kid a jar, he’ll be blown away. He was just like, ‘Oh, oh,’ [and] put his mouth on it and then put something into something. That’s the jam now.”
