Michael B. Jordan no doubt knows his onions when it comes to his works in the film industry, considering the variety and versatility of his acting that has earned him a lot of praise.
Now, he’s set to be honored with none other than a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, ahead of the release of his latest production, “Creed III.”
Michael B. Jordan To Be Awarded With Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star On March 1st
On Tuesday, March 1, Jordan will add a new medal to his collection of awards as he will be awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, joining thousands of award recipients. Variety exclusively reports the news via Twitter using a head-to-waist shot of the handsome actor wearing a long-sleeved black vest and looking seriously at the camera.

The comments section was naturally filled with congratulations, especially since the “Black Panther” actor was set to be honored after recently turning 36. One fan said, “This is really Jordan’s year,” while another declared, “He’s had a great career and made very smart choices about what he did. Quality over quantity.”
According to The Hollywood Walk of Fame’s official website, the walk of honor has more than 2,700 stars and is located on Hollywood Blvd from Gower to La Brea and on Vine Street from Sunset to Yucca. Before celebrities can be given a star, they have to be nominated, and that can be done by anyone, including fans who have been authorized and filled out the necessary paperwork.
When selected, the required sponsorship fee is $50,000, although subject to change, and it is used to “pay for the creation and installation of the star, as well as the maintenance of the Walk of Fame.” Additionally, there are six categories for nominations, and nominees must fit in any or be active in the entertainment industry before they can be selected.
Following nomination, recipients have approximately two years to schedule their ceremony. If it is not done within that period, the nom will expire, and another application will have to be submitted. For deceased celebrities considered for nomination, one posthumous award is given annually with a waiting period of two years after death.
Additionally, the Walk of Fame committee only accepts formal applications for nomination without regard to signatures, phone calls, emails or other petitions. In a year, an average of thirty stars are presented, while stars are voted for once every June. There is also a $250 application fee for each application submission every two years.
After payment, the application will be active for two years; if a nominee is not selected within that period, a new application may be sent, or one may request a reinstatement letter for the application. As for the stars, they are made of Terrazzo and brass, while some face separate directions to allow those who walk to enjoy an easy view from all directions.

Before the news of Jordan being honored with the coveted star was announced, she was featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, sending fans – especially women – into a frenzy over her ripped body.
The feat came ahead of the premiere of “Creed III,” and Jordan took to his social media fans to share an image from the magazine’s cover, alongside a message that read in part, “Creating a chapter in Adonis’ journey has helped me realize the strength within me and be a master for my own universe.”
As seen in the uploaded photo, fans were blessed with a bare-faced look at the producer, highlighting his chiseled chest and arms. Unsurprisingly, they couldn’t help but praise in the comments with multiple statements about “Akidah’s stature” and many fire emojis.
‘All My Children’ Actor Remembers Late Chadwick Boseman In Candid Interview
Last week, while on “The View” to promote “Creed III,” his directorial debut, Jordan talked about his lifelong relationship with the late Chadwick Boseman, who starred opposite him in “Black Panther.” The couple shares a deep bond off-screen.
He recalled the moment he and the “21 Bridges” cast created a lifelong bond, saying it happened before they watched a Marvel movie together for the first time. In his words, “There was a moment on the press tour – we were backstage, we were in London, and we were getting ready to see the film for the first time together.”

The entertainer continued, “And we looked at each other, and we were like, you know, ‘we’re connected for the rest of our lives.’ I just remember sitting there and having a real, momentary connection with him.”
At the time, the late movie star didn’t go public about his battle with colon cancer, and neither did Jordan, leaving him devastated when things turned out the way they did. Still, Jordan praised the “Marshall” star for being a “hard worker” and remaining dedicated to his career until his final moments.
