While some fans insist that the knives must be original based on the clinking sound they make when he slams them together, Tyler admits that it’s possible he used a prop knife that only had blunt edges and a blunt tip to prevent him from hurting himself.
While they may have blunt edges, Tyler still warns Britney that they can still be dangerous if she’s not careful with them. It seems the warning may have come too late, however, as the Pop Princess wore a bandage on her arm and a cut on her leg just a day after her dancing video was posted.

Last Monday, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to share a video of her dancing barefoot in her living room with her dogs running around in the background.
“I started playing in the kitchen with knives today ??♀️??♀️??♀️ !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is coming soon ??? !!!” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
Although he says they are fake, many fans point to the way the dogs chase each other when he slaps them together as a sign that they might be real.

The next day, she followed it up with another Instagram video showing her dancing with bandages on her wrists, cuts on her legs and bruises on her lower back. It’s not clear how he got this injury, but he didn’t mention it in his caption.

On Thursday, she wore a pink bathing suit and a white top to dance with knives again. In the caption, he said that he obtained the prop knife from the Hand Prop Shop in Los Angeles and claimed that he was inspired by a dance performed by “Hips Don’t Lie” singer Shakira at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards last month.
“I know I scared everyone with the last post, but this is a fake knife my team rented from the Hand Prop store in LA,” he wrote in the caption of this Instagram post. “This is not a real knife. No one needs to worry or call the police. I tried to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance that inspired me !!! On Wednesday night, however, local law enforcement officers showed up to conduct a welfare check on her home and make sure she was okay after receiving numerous phone calls expressing concern for her welfare. Apparently he wasn’t too happy about the check, as he called the police in the caption of another Instagram post.
“Is it a prank on the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we’re better than that, aren’t we ??? The officers came to my house and said they wouldn’t leave until they talked to me while people did a 4-minute show with them,” he wrote in a post last week.
