The “All You Wanted” singer’s plans for 2022 have suddenly shifted from touring and promoting her upcoming album to focusing on her personal life.
Last month Branch’s marriage suddenly came under the spotlight after she discovered her husband of three years had allegedly been cheating on her.
The musician and mother of three wasn’t too happy to learn about Carney’s discretion; On August 11, Branch was arrested after slapping her husband “one to two times” and charged with domestic assault, according to our report on the matter.

Branch Speaks Out: What Does He Have to Say About Carney’s Action?
The 39-year-old has been keeping quiet following his arrest in Nashville, Tennessee.
She gave TMZ insight into her feelings; the outlet was the first to break the news of the major development in her marriage.
“To say that I am completely devastated cannot describe how I feel for myself and for my family,” Branch told the outlet, “The rug has been completely pulled from under me and now I must figure out how to move forward. With a child -small children like that, I ask for privacy and kindness,” he concluded.
Branch and Carney welcomed a daughter in February of this year.

According to People, the baby girl has been named Willie Jacquet Carney, and her first name was chosen in honor of Carney’s grandmother, Branch explained in an Instagram post she shared to celebrate the arrival of her bundle of joy.
Before his arrest, Branch took to Twitter and revealed the details of the situation to his followers in the heat of the moment. She revealed Carney had been unfaithful while she was at home looking after their daughter, Willie.
According to our report, Branch deleted his tweet less than an hour after it was posted.

Branch was soon released on $1,000 bail following his arrest. She was released early due to the fact she was breastfeeding, according to our report.
We obtained documents regarding Branch and Carney’s divorce, which was filed in the couple’s home state of Tennessee.
In the document, Branch cited “irreconcilable differences.”
The document was filed by the Branch and further states, “The wife states that irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties which renders the parties no longer capable of resuming their marital relationship and living together as Husband and Wife and, therefore, The wife applied to the court for Absolute Divorce.”

Our report further details that the former couple will soon “enter into a Marital Dissolution Agreement regarding their marital property and an Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan for the care and custody of their minor children.”
In addition to their daughter, Carney and Branch also have a son, Rhys James.
Branch is also seeking child support and legal fees from Carney and wants full custody of their children.

In the midst of her unexpected divorce, Branch is also promoting her upcoming LP “The Trouble With Fever.”
According to a recent Instagram post, her two-night engagement in Los Angeles later this month is already sold out. He also plans to reschedule a delayed date in Nashville.
Trying to balance her professional commitments and processing the events in her personal life that have left her feeling “completely shattered” is not always easy.
Luckily Branch is finding solace with the presence of his new album in his life; according to Us Weekly, she opened up about her healing process in an interview with Billboard.
“I think if I don’t put this album out,” he explained to the outlet, “I’ll probably cry all day in bed.”
Leaning on a friendly face has also been a healing aid!
The outlet further detailed that he has found comfort from his friend, Music City classmate Kacey Musgraves.
Musgraves has had a very public breakup and divorce and has also poured her feelings into recorded music. “Star-Crossed,” which features various songs that refer to his personal life, was released last year.
“I called her right because this happened,” Branch revealed of Musgraves in Newsweek, “and I was like, f—k Kacey, what am I supposed to do? She’s like, ‘I don’t know about you, but I do better when I’m busy. And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, you’re right. Like, I just need to focus on my work and go on tour. I have a little kid, I don’t have the luxury of sitting around and wallowing, really,” Branch concluded.”
