Jesse Tyler Ferguson has hit a big milestone with her husband, Justin Mikita, as they celebrate ten years of marriage.
The couple tied the knot in Manhattan on July 20, 2013, after getting engaged the previous year. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Beckett Mercer and Sullivan Louis.
On the occasion of their tenth wedding anniversary, Ferguson and Mikita, surrounded by loved ones, sent touching tributes to each other, expressing their undying love, which fans witnessed on social media.

The lovebirds show off their unbridled affection in all the slides, two of which are taken outdoors, while the last one – a cute video – shows the couple lounging on a sofa indoors. The 47-year-old filmed his partner sleeping with his mouth open as he gazed lovingly at her.
Mikita finally woke up, looked at Ferguson, and leaned against his shoulder to go back to sleep, prompting Ferguson to smile. Their beauty did not go unnoticed by fans, who excitedly marked the milestone with congratulatory messages.
One follower declared, “Happy 10th Anniversary! May you and @justinmikita enjoy a lifetime of love, endless laughter, and magical adventures together ?✨?.” Another commenter exclaimed, “Happy birthday, gentlemen! ❤️,” followed by a third who wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU BOTH ❤️❤️.”
Afterwards, Facebook said, “Congratulations Jesse and Justin ?.” A fifth fan later wrote, “Favorite video of all time. Happy 10. Love you two ❤️.”

Ferguson didn’t stop with one tribute but followed up with another similar post detailing how she and her husband celebrated the impressive feat with friends at their “favorite restaurant” Don Angie’s, in their “favorite city”, NYC.
“What a way for @justinmikita & I to celebrate 10 years of marriage,” said the “On the Town” entertainer. “With some of our closest friends at our favorite restaurant in our favorite city!” He later credited “@allanzepedaphoto,” the photographer credited for the couple’s wedding photos, for documenting the night.
Ferguson and Mikita look very happy to be in a great group in the ten uploaded images. The Tony Award winner donned a brown suit, dark undershirt and matching shoes for the occasion.
Instead, her husband opted for a pink denim pants and jacket ensemble with a white vest and matching shoes. Their outfits can also be seen in Mikita’s festival broadcast, showing them walking down the street in two slides.
Marking the milestone, the 37-year-old producer wrote in the caption, “10 YEARS! Here’s to another 50. Happy birthday, @jessetyler. Loved celebrating my favorite wedding with my favorite man in my favorite city at my favorite restaurant ❤️??.”
A few months before the celebration, Ferguson and Mikita welcomed their second child via surrogacy, which the Broadway star announced on Instagram with a thank you note. On November 15, 2022, he sent a “special thank you” to Dr. Shahin Ghadir for “helping us grow our family.” He also recognized the “incredible substitutes and all the nurses and doctors” for their contributions.
Included in the attached carousel are sweet photos of newborn, Sullivan Louis, with one showing him napping and wrapping his arms tightly around Mikita’s fingers. The lovebirds are also parents to son Beckett Mercer.
‘Spamalot’ Star And His Partner Tell The Starting Point Of Their Love Story
Back in 2020, Ferguson and Mikita were interviewed by Variety for the Power of Pride issue, where they told their love story, from where it all began. The two first met at the gym, Equinox, in West Hollywood, and at the time, “Modern Family” was in its infancy while the “Broadway Rising” star was still a law student.
Ferguson found Mikita attractive on the scene but did not pursue a relationship until late 2010, when their lives and careers became intertwined. After marriage equality passed, the lovers planned their wedding three years into their relationship, with Tony Kushner, Ferguson’s idol, officiating the union.
“The Merchant of Venice” star mentioned that he had contacted Kushner as a joke after meeting him at Thanksgiving dinner when Ferguson was a 21-year-old budding actor.
