Moment IDF soldiers capture 70 armed Hamas terrorists at Gaza hospital

A video shows dozens of suspected Hamas terrorists laying down their weapons, after being captured by Israeli forces in a northern Gaza hospital after days of shelling.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) output recording on X Thursday, showing a group of men walking in single file with their hands up through a high area of rubble under military watch.

The next part of the footage shows the alleged Hamas terrorists, now with their shirts open, dropping their weapons, including assault-style rifles and ammunition, on the ground.

IDF soldiers from the 460th Combat Brigade of the 162nd Division, together with members of the Israeli security service Shin Bet, conducted an operation to arrest 70 terrorists at the Kamal Adwan Hospital near the Israeli border.

Medical facilities in Beit Lahiya were surrounded and suffered heavy fire for several days.

The Israeli military released a video and photos Thursday showing suspected Hamas terrorists surrendering in northern Gaza. The shirtless prisoners laid down their weapons on the rubble-strewn street outside Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The Israeli army said they found a building near a hospital used by Hamas. A battle ensued, in which an unknown number of enemies were killed in action, according to the IDF.

Others were captured alive and taken to the Shin Bet security agency and Unit 504 of the Military Intelligence Directorate for questioning.

The IDF said its troops killed several military fighters during clashes outside the hospital. Hospitals near the border were besieged and shelled for several days by Israeli forces.

The images taken on the debris-strewn streets of Jabaliya raised concerns among human rights activists about the disgraceful treatment of prisoners by the IDF.

Following the public outcry, an army official said the army would change its arrest procedures.
