This is the moment heavily armed Israeli commandos disguised as Muslim women and doctors stormed a West Bank hospital early Tuesday — gunning down three suspected terrorists in just 10 minutes.
Dramatic surveillance video from Ibn Sina hospital in the city of Jenin showed about a dozen Israeli special forces soldiers disguised as veiled Muslim women or hospital workers in scrubs or white doctor’s coats rushing through the hallways with assault rifles drawn.
One of the Israeli soldiers wore a surgical mask and carried a rifle in one hand and a folded wheelchair in the other.
Another, dressed in all black, patted a man kneeling against the wall with his hands resting behind his head.
Other graphic images released by Palestinian news media showed blood-stained pillows with bullet holes on hospital beds and blood-soaked folding chairs.
The Israeli military said the trio of Palestinians who were fatally shot during a raid were using the hospital as a hideout – and one of them was a Hamas member who had smuggled weapons and ammunition to others for future terrorist attacks “inspired by the October 7 massacre.” ”

Hamas and fellow Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group, whose members were killed, vowed swift revenge.
“Blood will meet blood,” Hamas said in a statement.
The PIJ added that it “will not let this crime pass without a proper response.”
Hospital officials alleged that camouflaged Israeli soldiers broke into the medical complex around 5:30 a.m. local time, made their way to the third floor and killed the three men with silenced pistols.
“They killed the three men while they were sleeping in the room. They killed them in cold blood by firing bullets directly into their heads in the room where they were treated,” said Niji Nazzal, the hospital’s medical director.

One of those killed was identified as 27-year-old Mohammed Jalamneh, who the Israeli military said planned the impending attack.
Hamas confirmed that Jalamneh was a member of the group and condemned his killing as a “cowardly murder.”

Two others, the Basel brothers and Mohammed Ghazawi, are hiding in the hospital and have been involved in past terrorist attacks, Israel claims.
The Israeli army did not provide details on how the three were killed. The statement said Jalamneh was armed with a gun, but made no mention of a gunfight. The entire operation is said to take about 10 minutes.
“There is a special level of urgency because [another terror attack] almost implemented – this makes the situation extraordinary,” Shalom Ben Hanan, a former high-ranking official with Israel’s version of the FBI, or Shin Bet, told the Jerusalem Post.
“The hospital is a very difficult area to move around. You need intelligence that allows you to attack targets without hitting innocent people. You can’t just fire a missile, even an accurate missile that might just hit the room,” he said, noting the possible casualties caused by the rocket.
“You want a narrow, targeted operation where your team is quick to a specific room to surgically remove the threat,” Hanan said.

The fact that the Israeli commandos “had no collateral damage, did not harm patients, medical personnel, nor any innocents – is a high aspirational standard,” he said.
Ghazzawi was in hospital for treatment after being paralyzed from the waist down when he was injured by shrapnel during clashes between Israeli and Palestinian forces in late October, hospital sources said.
Ghazzawi is in a wheelchair, having lost the use of his legs, and his brother Mohammad stays with him to help, hospital sources said.
PIJ claimed the two brothers as its members.
Ibn Sina Hospital representative Tawfiq al-Shobaki claimed that Israeli squads attacked doctors, nurses and hospital security during the operation.
“What happened is a precedent,” he said. “There has never been a murder in the hospital. There were arrests and assaults, but not murders.”
Palestinian Health Minister Mai Alkaila condemned the incident as a war crime and urged the United Nations and international human rights groups to crack down on such actions by the Israeli army.
