A “monster” babysitter from Southern California has been found guilty of molesting 16 boys, including some as young as 2 — and filming many of the vile attacks.
Matthew Zakrzewski, 34, who bills himself as “the original Sitter Buddy” and “manny,” was convicted by a jury of 34 felony counts, including lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and oral sex on a child under 10 , the Orange County District Attorney’s Office said.
“These young boys were forced to endure unimaginable violence as a result of the ultimate betrayal by a babysitter,” said District Attorney Todd Spitzer.

Zakrzewski has worked as a childminder for many families throughout the region.
The crimes against his client’s children aged between 2 and 12 were committed between January 2014 and May 2019, the prosecutor said.

The popular nanny first appeared on law enforcement’s radar in the spring of 2019, when a Laguna Beach couple went to police to accuse Zakrzewski of inappropriately touching their 8-year-old son.
The Laguna Beach Police Department launched an investigation into the nanny, which led to a second victim, a 7-year-old boy in Los Angeles.
From there, police found 10 more victims throughout Southern California.
Prosecutors said Zakrzewski filmed numerous sexual assaults, and also showed pornography to a 17-year-old boy.
Zakrzewski uses several websites to advertise her services, including websites for babysitting, tutoring, sibling relationships and overnight and holiday babysitting.
“In eighth grade, I discovered the joy of working with children and being a positive impact in their lives through my school’s “Buddy Program,”” Zakrzewski wrote on his Sitter Buddy website. “Now, I am a full-service TrustLine Certified provider of regular and on-demand child care, as well as tutoring services for children.”
Zakrzewski was arrested on May 17, 2019, at LAX airport after disembarking from an international flight.
