It’s almost become a regular ritual for Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade to clarify their relationship status, and it’s happened again.
Their close friendship came under the public microscope shortly after Richards’ split from Dave Umansky and his comments about being open to dating a woman.

After rumors of tension began to circulate, the country singer set the record straight about her friendship with the reality star. Wade uploaded a photo of himself and Richards to his Instagram Story with the caption, “PS I’m not fighting with @kylerichards18.”
It was reposted by Richards, who shared it on her story and captioned it, “It’s been a slow new week it seems,” as a dig at the rumormongers.
Richards attended the Country Music Hall of Fame event decked out in a dark brown leather jacket paired with a black graphic T-shirt. Wade looked edgy in a camo-inspired coat paired with jeans, black boots and matching sunglasses.
The reality star has previously stated that her and Wade’s friendship is purely platonic, although they have been seen going on vacations and traveling together.

Richards explained in an appearance on “Jeff Lewis Live” last month that the romantic tone attached to their friendship was from the media. She revealed that she has a group of friends that she hangs out with regularly, but the media always highlights Morgan, thus creating a narrative that they go out alone.
“My first text message of the day was four different people but, you know, if I’m walking down the street, having lunch with them, they’re usually cut out of the picture. Usually, they cut my friends except for Morgan,” explained the 55-year-old man.
Glen Center’s viral photo of what appears to be a kiss between the two friends is just a goodbye hug taken from a controversial angle. Richards added that her close friend serves as her therapist and has been her support system through her marital and personal struggles.
Richards And Wade Share A Unique Bond As Friends
Although not a romantic couple, Wade and Richards don’t hold back from praising each other’s strengths.
The country singer described his friend as “very smart about business and how to ignore sh—.” She added that the reality star was a great person in her corner who helped her “navigate things.”

For Richards, Wade is “one of his best friends in the world.” He proved it when he brought the country star as his date to Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party last year.
Their exciting friendship started on social media and has since grown into a strong bond involving traveling around the world with Richard’s “RHOBH” co-stars.
On one of these trips, The Blast noted that the couple appeared in Paris last September, and again caused a media frenzy, but Richards explained that he was only hired to produce Wade’s documentary. The 55-year-old continued in his statement online:
“There’s a lot out there online. I was like, why do people just make up, make up stuff about travel? They see that there’s a camera there, and they just ignore that there’s a camera there.”
As a testament to the uniqueness of their friendship, the mother of four FaceTimed the country singer on an episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” last December and joked about her outfit.
“My relationship with Morgan is very different from my relationship with my other friends. He’s always teasing me, I know when Morgan and I hang out, I’m going to get burned,” Richards said in a confessional statement at the scene.
