Country music star Morgan Wallen fell on the wrong side of the law and was arrested following his reckless behavior at a Nashville bar. Wallen was reportedly arrested after throwing a chair from the sixth floor of the Bar Chief that landed just three feet from a police officer.

The “Cowgirls” impersonator was arrested in May 2020 for disorderly conduct at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville. He then asked X to admit his actions and apologize for his behavior at the time.

Wallen was arrested last night and charged with three felony counts after the incident at a rooftop bar in Nashville.

According to Daily Mailthe attacker allegedly threw a chair from the sixth floor of the bar, landing three feet away from police officers stationed in front of the building.

He was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct after the incident at around 10.45pm on Sunday.

“At 10:53 p.m. Sunday, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for wanton endangerment and disorderly conduct,” his attorney, Worrick Robinson, said in a statement. “He is cooperating fully with the authorities.”

Police arrested the “Last Night” thief and booked him just after 12:30 a.m. Monday.

His bail was set at $15,250, and he was seen covered with an umbrella as he was released from the Davidson County jail around 3:30 a.m.

According to New York Postonlookers said he was laughing after the incident.

Images of him doing the rounds on Instagram appear to show him screaming in the back of a police car outside a bar.

“I work there, and the d— near chair took out 2 cops. He threw him off the 6th floor,” one Instagram user wrote in the comments section.

The date coincides with his scheduled performance at Nissan Stadium in Nashville from May 2 to May 4 as part of his “One Night at a Time” Tour.

According to New York Post, this isn’t the first time he’s had trouble with the law; he was arrested in May 2020 in Nashville on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

“Hey, you just want to chill. I was out downtown last night with some old friends. After a few bar stops, we played horse with each other,” he wrote at the time in an apology. “We meant no harm, and we would like to apologize to any bar staff or anyone else who was affected.”

He also drew the ire of social media users in 2021 after a leaked video captured him using the N-word. The singer later reached out to X (formerly Twitter) to apologize.

“I am ashamed and sorry. I used unacceptable and inappropriate racist words that I wish I could take back,” Wallen said in a statement at the time.

“There is no excuse for using this kind of language. I want to apologize for using those words. I promise to do better.”

At a recent concert in Indianapolis, the disgraced country star accidentally angered his fans when he made a joke about singer Taylor Swift.

Wallen told the audience at the event that he had set an attendance record at Lucas Oil Stadium, a feat he said he would be proud of “until Taylor Swift comes to town.”

“They told me before I went on stage that this was the single most attended concert in the history of this building,” Wallen told a large crowd of adoring fans in a clip shared on TikTok. “And that we were the first to do that two nights in a row.”

The 30-year-old added, “I’ll say it until Taylor Swift comes to town in the fall.”
