Neeru Bajwa made her acting debut with the 1998 Bollywood film “Main Solah Baras Ki” as ‘Tina.’

He later starred in several Bollywood films such as Prince (2010), Phoonk 2 (2010), Miley Naa Miley Hum (2011), and Special Chabbis (2013). In 2004, she made her Punjabi debut with the film “Asa Nu Maan Watna Da” as ‘Neeru.’
His first film as a lead actor in a Punjabi film was “Dil Apna Punjabi” (2006). She has acted in many popular Punjabi films including Munde UK De (2009), Heer Ranjha (2009), Jihne Mera Dil Luteya (2011), Jatt & Juliet (2012), Jatt & Juliet 2 (2013), Aa Gaye Munde UK De (2014), Sardaar Ji (2015), Channo Kamli Yaar Di (2016), Jindua (2017), Laung Laachi (2018), and Shadaa (2019).

Controversy
In 2013, he got a tattoo of verses from Gurbani inked on his forearm. This angered many including the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), which filed a complaint against the actress. Neeru was forced to submit a written apology for him, and it was later decided that no one would be forgiven for making the same mistake.

- Since childhood, Neeru dreamed of becoming an actress. He grew up watching Bollywood movies and decided to become an actor.
- Before coming to India, she participated in a Canadian Indian beauty pageant because she heard that the winner would get a chance to go to Mumbai. He came second in the competition, but, by then, his father had already agreed to send him to Mumbai.
- Initially, her parents opposed Neeru’s desire to become an actress; because they want him to be a doctor.
- His father respected his decision and fully supported him. At the age of 19, he came to Mumbai to give an audition. Since then, he has been working in the industry.
- The last Bollywood film that Neeru Bajwa acted in was “Special Chabbis” (2013). Talking about why she stopped working in Bollywood films, Neeru said,
I’m not saying that’s how the industry works. I say that I am one of those unfortunate actors who have had a terrifying experience. Since then, I haven’t tried my luck in Bollywood, and I never will. I am comfortable in my space in Punjabi cinema.”
