Neeru Bajwa was born as ‘Ashveer Kaur Bajwa’ on Tuesday, 26 August 1980 (age 41 years; in 2021) in Vancouver City of British Columbia, Canada. His zodiac sign is Virgo.
Since childhood, he was not interested in studies. In a documentary titled “Bollywood Bound” (2003), he admitted that he dropped out of high school to pursue acting.

Neeru Bajwa made her acting debut with the 1998 Bollywood film “Main Solah Baras Ki” as ‘Tina.’
He later starred in several Bollywood films such as Prince (2010), Phoonk 2 (2010), Miley Naa Miley Hum (2011), and Special Chabbis (2013). In 2004, she made her Punjabi debut with the film “Asa Nu Maan Watna Da” as ‘Neeru.’
His first film as a lead actor in a Punjabi film was “Dil Apna Punjabi” (2006). She has acted in many popular Punjabi films including Munde UK De (2009), Heer Ranjha (2009), Jihne Mera Dil Luteya (2011), Jatt & Juliet (2012), Jatt & Juliet 2 (2013), Aa Gaye Munde UK De (2014), Sardaar Ji (2015), Channo Kamli Yaar Di (2016), Jindua (2017), Laung Laachi (2018), and Shadaa (2019).

Controversy
In 2013, he got a tattoo of verses from Gurbani inked on his forearm. This angered many including the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), which filed a complaint against the actress. Neeru was forced to submit a written apology for him, and it was later decided that no one would be forgiven for making the same mistake.

- Initially, her parents opposed Neeru’s desire to become an actress; because they want him to be a doctor.
