Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka go all out every Halloween. This year is no different.
Their fans patiently wait for the holiday just to see the epic costumes and scenes they will be performing this time, and they never seem to disappoint. This year, the four families dressed up as beloved fast food mascots. Both Harris and Burtka posted photos of their Halloween scene on Instagram. Harris shared the final product with the caption, “Trick Or Meat. Happy Halloween from the BOOrtka-Harris Family.”

The Family of Four Sets an Epic Fast Food Scene
Harris, 49, is dressed as Ronald McDonald, Burtka, 47, is Burger King, Harper Grace, 12, is Wendy, and her twin, Gideon Scott is Colonel Sanders. Surrounding them in the photo are empty fast food containers, wrappers and food.
Fans are excited to see this year’s costume choices. One follower commented, “You can’t beat this!! I don’t care what people say 🙌🙌.” Another jumped into the comments to say, “The best ❤️❤️❤️❤️.” And another added, “Your family Halloween photos are something we look forward to every year. Thank you for continuing the tradition and sharing it with all of us.”
KFC wants to participate in the writing of the action, “The most ambitious crossover event in history.” Access Hollywood added, “We need an amendment to the iSpy Halloween book ASAP.”

NPH Releases Teaser The Night Before Halloween
Fans are already excited to see what the family has come up with for this year’s holiday, but Harris decided to air the teaser on Halloween Night so no one will forget the fun is just around the corner. She shared a photo of three jack-o-lanterns with the caption, “Happy Halloween! Hope everyone has a weekend scare, and looking forward to tomorrow..! Xoxo 🎃🎃🎃”

Every Halloween Brings a Different Theme for the Family of Four
Last year, the family dressed up as classic horror movie characters. Harris is Norman Bates from “Psycho”, Burtka is Jack Torrance from “The Shining”, Gideon is dressed as Chucky from “Child’s Play” and Harper is possessed by Regan from “The Exorcist.” In 2020, the family took a different direction and dressed up as characters from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
