Newly emerged video footage shows the spine-tingling moments Utah authorities rescued two girls stuffed in a vat of blue water at a strange doomsday cult led by their pedophile father.
Police found the distraught girls, just 7 and 4, in December 2017 as they shivered in a 50-gallon barrel on a property rarely used by the Knights of the Crystal Blade, body camera footage obtained by YouTube channel Explore With Us.
There is also a loaded gun on the ground next to the couple, a photo from the scene in Lund’s show.
“I’m not wearing pants!” one of the little girls repeatedly told rescue officers as they tried to coax her and the other youngster into the warm vehicle.
When police asked where the girl’s two sisters were, they suggested they were also being held in containers.
“They were in a box very far away from us,” said one of the shivering youngsters, although the siblings were later found in a trailer.

One of the girls is the daughter of cult self-proclaimed prophet Samuel Shaffer, who is serving 26 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to raping and abusing children.
The younger girl is the daughter of prominent disciple John Coltharp, who is serving at least 25 years in prison for child sodomy and bigamy.
The two pedophiles are believed to have “married” their own youngest daughters, their trial heard.

At the time of the dramatic rescue, Coltharp’s two daughters and two sons had been missing since September 2017, when their mother filed for divorce and sought custody of the children.
The 6- and 7-year-old boys were found safe shortly after police raided the cult property in December, but the girls were nowhere to be seen, prompting a nationwide Amber Alert.
While Coltharp was arrested for abduction at the scene, Shaffer remained with police under guard – and repeatedly refused to say where any of the girls were.

“I’m going to lift his ass into the helicopter and throw him out,” a frustrated policeman was heard saying as authorities struggled to locate the child in the dark of night.
After the four girls were rescued from the property, an investigation revealed that Shaffer and Coltharp had been “engaged” to some of the young girls, KUTV reported at the time.
